I need some answer, at least an honest one.

It seems, after browsing this piece of shit board for a year and losing fat.

There's something that bothers me.

It seems everyone wants the secret to a greek psysique.

But for my experience, most bro science is just BS.

You don't need expensive machines or meme workouts.

It seems for the most part something simple.

You pickup heavy shit and lift it, most muscles are conected, so it doesn't matter if you use a machine or use compounds or isolated meme machines, for the most part, if you workout your back, all muscles will develop, if you bench, a shit ton of muscles will develop, including even the core, if you do dumbells, all your forearm and bicep and even tricep, shoulders will develop together.

So, most routines or magical meme routines are just memes.

It seems you only need to do some kind of chest work (push ups, barbell, etc), some work for the back (pull ups, chin ups, machines) and some squat variations (machines).

Simply diferent combinations will focus on one muscle but the efect will be a compound one, since most mucles don't become stronger in isolation, even working biceps will somehow work triceps as well, and so on.

So, most routines are memes, this doesn't mean they're bad.

So, another thing is that even while 8-10 repetitions to failure is an excelent rule, you can also build muscle with 5 reps or 20 reps, as long as you work the muscle until failure.

Why is that?

Because it doesn't matter for your stupid reptilian piece of shit ancestral brain, your brain wont think: oh, I did X amount of reps, then it's time to increase the muscle.

No, for your brain, the big retard piece of shit will think: Oh, you're fighting some giant wizard lion type of ancient monster that want to kill you and your tribe, that's bad, better improve my muscles.

Or he will think you're some kind of gladiator who needs to survive.

In any case, the soreness and pain indicates that the muscle was forced to it's limit, and there's some kind of damage the muscle needs to repair.

As long as the mucle feels the need it need to improve, it doesn't matter the reps if you keep overloading with increasing weight.

As for nutrition, a veggie and fruit diet is more healhty than drinking sugar and fast food.

But for your body, it doesn't matter if you got protein from jew powder suplement or eat meat.

But for some faggots is much easier to drink two scoops than eating like a piece of fat shit.

Also, roids are useless for mentally ill people, they will shit up your body and kill you, like drugs, also they're useless for 99% people goal body (othermode).

I see you've taken the Scooby pill

All that stuff matters to an extent but a lot of research is coming out in support of the idea that it's really just the effort used, rather than the routine, reps, weight, etc. Most people need heavy weights and moderate reps to hit that key amount of effort though.

what the fuck is the question?

> if you workout your back, all muscles will develop, if you bench, a shit ton of muscles will develop

wrong, you workout the muscle parts you're working, its simple as that, and that's why they're called "compound" exercises, because they work a large muscle group together

> So, most routines or magical meme routines are just memes.

yeah, there is no magical routine that works for everybody, and even when you have good routine for yourself its recommended to switch it up about every 3 months or sooner

why you ask? it reduces the chance of long term injury for doing the same thing all the time, plus, its like your body gets used to these same exercises and they less effective

> So, another thing is that even while 8-10 repetitions to failure is an excelent rule, you can also build muscle with 5 reps or 20 reps, as long as you work the muscle until failure.

great example of how /fit/ jumps in on the meme threads and leaves the good stuff to die

tl;dr:

it depends on goals, you will develop muscle growth and strength by exercising no matter what, but you can focus on which type of training you want to

8~12 reps with explosive concentric (positives) and slow eccentric (negatives) is a good mix between strength and muscle gain, and thus popular

> But for some faggots is much easier to drink two scoops than eating like a piece of fat shit.

yes... and?

making your own healthy meals and keeping track of good nutrition is one of the hardest parts of /fit/

also one of most important parts getting /fit/, and reason why most people can't achieve their goals

also, supplements are intended as that, to SUPPLEMENT your fucking diets, not meant to be the only thing you eat

>You don't need expensive machines and meme workouts

Who promotes machine gains here? I've consistently seen scorn for machines on this board, the only exception was one Anon who has bad wrists for being limp wristed and a sedentary lifestyle giving him carpel tunnel syndrome requiring him to do pulling exercises.

Columbia you are a nogainz 20% bodyfat dyel. Only doing 8-10 reps on major strength based compound lifts is retarded. While true that muscle growth WILL occur when stimulated and given sufficient nutrition, there are definitely better ways to go about this than that. This is different for every single person as every body will react differently to certain stimulation.

Stop shitting up this board with your dumbass threads, and go learn how to actually get shit done at the gym.
