 No.126184

Good day, dear /fit/.

If I have your permission, I would like to share information and experiences with you, which mainly deal with mental illness. I have been concerned with this issue for the last few years, as I have noticed how more and more relatives, friends and acquaintances suffer from depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, posttraumatic stress disorders, anxiety and panic attacks (me included). I have full understanding if someone does not want to read this long message.

It was and still is very difficult (for me) to see how people you love lose the joy of life through these "diseases". Many who do not see a way out are looking for help in psychiatric hospitals and hope for an improvement in their well-being. I am not an expert or a doctor in this field, but I have assumed that perhaps so-called "antidepressants" can help. According to the experiences I have heard and read the past months and years, many of the health conditions deteriorate after taking "Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors". Various articles, studies and reports tell of the dangers, side effects and placebo effects of these drugs.

I was desperate because I wanted to help my family, friends, and all others who needed support. So I decided to inform myself extensively about mental illnesses, talked with these people about their problems and tried to figure out the causes. I also noticed that these diseases can affect everyone - no matter what race, skin color, country, sexuality, gender, body weight and height, ability, appearance, etc.

A short time later I became aware of an internship in a psychiatry. This offer was accepted immediately, because I wanted to know how people are treated there. Unfortunately the first day was quite a shock. The patients seemed as if they were bored most of the time and only lying in bed. Doctors and psychiatrists gave various medications to just keep them quiet. Strong side effects and risks are ignored. The patients knew I was a new employee and started a conversation with me to find out who I am. Common questions like, "Where are you from?", "How old are you?", "How long are you here?". I was able to talk to them quite normally and it was also interesting to be honest. My work colleagues were not very pleased, however, and told the patients to leave me alone, although they were usual conversations, nothing bad at all.

When there were problems, people quickly got medication and in some cases were even tied up. It may sound stupid, but it was like in a horror movie where the doctors and psychiatrists are crazy, not the patients. It breaks the heart to see how these people are treated. At first I thought that this is just a negative example, but unfortunately I always read from such clinics with catastrophic and inhuman conditions.

I also came across articles that recommend a nutritional change (food rich in zinc, B vitamins, C, D3 + K2, B3, B12, A, fiber, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, clean protein, coconut oil, ghee + an additional aid dietary supplements) & physical exercise to increase well-being. Some would recommend "antidepressants", MDMA, ketamine, (strong) psychedelics (DMT, iboga, ayahuasca), nootropics (e.g., Semax or Selank) or other substances but I believe that "drugs" are not a permanent solution. Yes, a balanced and healthy diet *can* combat or "cure" both physical and mental problems, but we should not forget that there is something else in life besides eating. By this I mean:

- two or three true friends who help you even in difficult times.

- a fulfilled career that aligns with your values, passions and goals + that *really* interests you and brings pleasure, joy and fun.

- a loving family & partner who support you.

- meaning in life. Some people want to be rich, have many pretty women, beautiful cars, materialism. Others just want to be a good father or mother. I myself prefer the "selfless path" and would like to help others + be a good friend. Everyone has a different purpose in life and that is all right.

It would be interesting to know how your experiences are and whether you might share them with us. You may have a few helpful tips and advice for those who suffer from such mental illness. I would be very happy if we could talk about this topic and exchange information. Everyone can learn something new.

Namasté.

I just want to beat SAD. Every spring I notice how fat I have become, change my diet, exercise, and by the end of summer and at a reasonable body fat percentage and on my way to gains. As fall arrives I start gradually slacking until late in winter I have completely given up on life and am living off energy drinks, junkfood, alcohol, and tobacco.

I don't even notice it is happening until spring rolls around and the crushing despair lightens up and I want to fix my train wreck of a life. I am older now and it is getting harder and harder to recover. It's hard to say just don't give up when you wake up every morning to no reason to wake up.

I have often heard and read that (natural) psychedelics can help people with mental problems. There are already several studies that prove that psilocybin or ketamine can relieve depression. Even MDMA is already used to treat posttraumatic stress disorders. What do you think about DMT, iboga, peyote and ayahuasca, if I may ask?

>>126297

Many use certain drugs not with decency, respect and in moderation, but daily, only to become "high". Psychedelic substances are, at least in my opinion, neither harmful nor dangerous. These should not be consumed for fun to tell friends, you have seen flying elephants and communicating with ghosts & monsters. It sounds stupid, but I hope you understand what I mean (excuse my bad English skills).

Some consumers do not cope with the experiences during or after their so-called "trips", break into tears, are confronted with their own mistakes (for example, to treat other people badly), or do not want to see / understand them. This can, but does not have to occur and trigger a psychic shock.

Banisteriopsis caapi (the ayahuasca vine) requires a strict dietary regime (no fried, fermented, processed, animal food, salt, spices, herbs, refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, chocolate, caffeine, etc.) + sexual abstinence (not only sex with a partner but also self-gratification with or without pornography - young adolescents would say "NoFap" + "NoPorn" | Tantra and "semen retention").

In addition, the population would get a completely new image and awareness when people who take legal and illegal drugs make a reasonable, credible and orderly impression. Furthermore, a self-controlled handling should be maintained and not forgotten.

>>126302

We all, or many of us sometimes have hard times in life. This often includes depressive moods, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, etc. In my opinion, it is important that in such situations we have true friends around us who are always there and help, no matter what happens. I really hope you are doing well now.

>>126304

First of all, many thanks for being so honest and sharing your story with us.

I believe almost every person has ups and downs in life, in which he or she knows no way out. We all want to feel we’re making a difference in someone else’s life. I am firmly convinced that giving up is *not* a solution.

Each of us can make something positive and meaningful out of life. Of course, this is easier said than done, but there is always a way, and I do *not* mean death. You can believe me or not, but the hard times in life are mostly the best to develop as a person. I am absolutely sure that you will master your current situation.

May I ask you purely out of interest, if you have ever tried a high dose (3,000 milligrams a day) of vitamin B3 (niacin) to relieve depressive moods? It would also be interesting to know if you have a deficit of D3, B12 and magnesium.

I would be really happy to talk to you (for example, in a private conversation) if you have desire, time and interest. Please do not hesitate if you need help. Take care of yourself. I wish to hear from you again. All the best.

Hello, I have recently been researching magnesium deficiency as a cause of these symptoms

https://bebrainfit.com/magnesium-anxiety-stress/

they also in the article mention the fact that fluoride is also causing this defeciency "Fluoride binds to magnesium, making it less bioavailable. (41)"

this combined with the fact that fluoride can also cause depression its a deadly combination being forcibly pumped into the water here in the USA

Very well said, thank you for that.

I am of the opinion that life is pointless. By this I mean: Nothing has a built-in meaning. All circumstances and situations are neutral. *You* bring the meaning to every circumstance/situation in life. Either intentionally (by choice) or unconsciously. There is only the meaning we give to our experience. If you want to put it in another way, you could say that the meaning in life is to give it a meaning.

"The purpose of this life is to be this ‘You’ as fully as you possibly can. To do what excites you the most. Ask yourself “What excites me the most?” And at any given moment do the most exciting thing that you are capable of doing something about. “

"Your purpose in the Game, is to work upon yourself. To grow, develop, and transform yourself into a more positive and loving being. You had certain goals that you planned to achieve before incarnating here, which is a main reason for the veil of forgetfulness being in place, because if you already knew what your goals were, the Game would be too easy."

>>126354

Hello and greetings to you.

The opinions on this subject are very different. Some people believe that fluoride can harm the teeth, bones, pineal gland, and the brain. For others, this is nothing more than a crazy conspiracy theory. When you search, you will find different studies, documentaries, films, books and doctors who speak either for, or completely against it.

It would be wrong to say that every human being who consumes fluoride has bad teeth, is sick, or "brainwashed". I do not believe that. In the end everyone should decide for themselves who they believe.

If you want, you can try a high dose of vitamin B3 (niacin - 3,000 milligrams), D3 (5,000 IU) and B12 (methylcobalamin - 1,000 mcg) a day. Maybe it will help you overcome your depressive phase. You're not alone, believe me.

I live in a cold, dark area of the US. Here's what I do wrt SAD:

+ 5,000 IU Vit D3 in addition to a daily multi, fish oil, creatine, fiber.

+ Light therapy. I don't have access to an 'official' light box/bulb but there's a tanning bed at my small gym and I alternate 5 to 10 minutes 2x weekly.

+ Exercise, obviously. Light cardio + heavy lifting, focused on achieving a 'lifting high' - i.e. endorphine release from movement. When training is going well, I can usually achieve about a 75% release point rate.

+ Take advantage of any opportunity to get sunshine + activity outdoors. Weekends, lunchbreaks, etc. XC, hiking, snowshoeing, you name it.

+ Routine, routine, routine. I find religious rituals to be good for this (attending services, regular prayer/meditation, socialization) but many people don't care for formalized religion.

Good luck. Find a process that helps and stick to it like your life depends upon it because… it might.

I believe that there is not *a* special solution for all people in this world to cure mental problems like depression because each one of us is different.

What works for person A does not necessarily have to work for person B, C or D. There are people who have a loving family, true friends, nice girlfriend, lot of money, car and house, interesting work and yet are depressed, unhappy and sad. Many always want a quick fix (for example, in the form of medications) for everything. Be it big muscles, a well-trained body, weight loss and not forgetting pills/drugs to cure mental problems in seconds or minutes. Is this the right way? Well, everyone should decide for themselves. What helped me was a change in my environment.

May I ask if you ever tried ketamine, Semax / Selank (nootropics) or psychedelics like DMT, ayahuasca or iboga?

>>126437

Admittedly, much of the first post are easier said than done, but I am firmly convinced that nothing of it is impossible to achieve.

My father was an alcoholic and died of an overdose in my youth, I have not graduated from school and since childhood I have psychological problems (obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks and depressive moods). In addition, various "facial deformities", such as crooked teeth & nose, caries, teeth pulling, overbite, an asymmetrical, narrow and long face shape and amalgam fillings. At this time, I had arrived at a point where I really wanted to end my life because no one was looking at me and / or talking to me. While other people had several relationships with pretty women, I was alone. It would be easy to say that suicide is the solution at such moments, but luckily I could guide my mind and thoughts in a positive direction and improve my life.

Please do not misunderstand me. I do *not* want to give the impression that I have the worst life of all people in this world. No, there are much worse cases. I just want to tell you that you are not alone. In my opinion, death is *not* the solution to all our problems. Of course, we can just wait until we die, but do we really want that? I do not think so. Problems are there to be solved, as well as difficult phases in life.

If such an unattractive person like me did the best of the bad time, you will master it too. Please excuse my bad English skills, but I hope you understand what I mean.

This is why mental cases absolutely hate, despise, and distrust psychology, psychiatry, and asylums. The subconscious dehumanizing way normal people talk to them can also piss them off on some level, if you're going to help then the first thing you'll have to learn is how to talk to them properly.

I'd go so far as to say the worst moment for someone with a mental condition is the moment they realize their own parents don't see them as quite human, their heart breaks.

Thanks for your compliment. I always try my best to improve the language skills. I am happy to read when other people understand my messages.

>>126558

A very good point that you mentioned. Thanks a lot for this.

I am also firmly convinced that the way we talk with other people is a big factor.

I am of the opinion that mental illness can affect almost every person in life. To overcome such difficult times, people who have empathy, understanding, compassion, love, care for others and support are a *real* help. We need love and affection from our families, friends and partners to make us feel happy.

In psychiatric hospitals, it is often the case that many only think of money and are happy when their work is over after eight hours, so they can go home. The well-being of the patients is usually secondary and not so important. It is very sad to see this, but fortunately there are still "good" people. Even though many things are bad in this world, there are *always* ways to develop ourselves in a positive direction to help others. As stupid as it may sound, I believe that our parents have given us this life as a gift. We can either make the best out of every situation, or see everything negatively and just wait for death.

We as a society can decide how our future will look. Many have already understood that the selfish path (service-to-self) is probably not the best solution, but rather cohesion and mutual assistance (service-to-others).

In addition: I think people ask themselves what they want to do out of their lives or look for a meaning. For many, a lot of money would probably be a dream that I can understand. Nevertheless, I think that money itself makes a person not necessarily happy. It calms down. You can do everything and enjoy life in beautiful places, but sooner or later many people want to do something useful. By this I mean, for example, to help others (service to others).

**For reasons I found myself an involuntary guest of one of my nation's fine mental health establishments. On my second or third day their I went into the day room and started working on a jigsaw puzzle because the drugs made me incapable of anything else and despite them I was getting bored as fuck. There was this cute spic girl in the corner hugging her knees to her chest so I ignored her. Anyways to dudes walk in, look around. Look out the door and then walk up to me and ask,

>Hey you want to rape this bitch with us?

They were skinny meth monkey manlets obviously in there to avoid jail and I am glorious /fit/ master race so I look up at them and say something along the lines of

>You say that shit again or if I see you near here I will break your necks

They immediately backed down and went to go snitch on me yo the orderlies.

The girl got up, walked over to the table I was seated at, pulled up a chair right next to mine and started hugging on my arm.

So for the next month that was pretty much where she always was, clinging to my left arm everywhere I went. When she was getting out she gave me her phobe number and told me to call her as soon as I was free. I did and spent the next couple of months fucking her rotten until I completely understood why you don't stick your dick in crazy.**

stick with it, it doesn't make much sense at first but its good

specially what he says to that women about opening up for the world take you, but opening up and maintaining it is specially hard and scary thing to do

its also hard for men to carry themselves with that superior masculinity

but that is how one attracts an equal partner of quality,

and of course, you need to be clear on what higher level goals in life you want to achieve

> He knew abandonment was my biggest fear and I was played.

that neediness and fear are lower level goals, they serve to purpose but to make you want to close

so literally forget about it, every time you close like that just slap yourself in the face and go do something else

these lower levels need are likely to attract equal lower level male, for example in your case

the dude probably is not confident enough to be with someone who isn't afraid to be left alone,

and as such he plays on that string even if he doesn't know it,

and finally, "godbro" is such an weird thing, you should forget about him for that alone

I believe in "God", but not in the form of an old man with a long beard, who decides after death who comes to heaven or hell. The Creator ("All That Is") is, in my opinion, an awareness of which we all, without exception, are a part of it. Meditation and natural psychedelics (e.g., iboga, ayahuasca, DMT, mescaline / peyote) can help achieve this state of mind.

If you are interested in the subject, I can recommend the book "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch. The basic messages are:

1. We are all one.

2. There's enough.

3. There's nothing we have to do.

4. Ours is not a better way, ours is merely another way.

5. All things are one, there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony, but only identity. All is one, and that one is love/light, light/love, the Infinite Creator.

6. Souls reincarnate to eventually experience God-realization.

7. Feelings are more important as a source of guidance than intellect.

8. We are not here to learn anything new but to remember what we already know.

9. Physical reality is an illusion.

10. One cannot understand one thing unless he or she understands its opposite.

11. God is everything.

12. God is self-experiential, in that it is the nature of the Universe to experience itself.

13. God is not fear-inducing or vengeful, only our parental projections onto God are.

14. Fear or love are the two basic alternative perspectives on life.

15. Good and evil do not exist (as absolutes, but can exist in a different context and for different reasons).

16. Reality is a representation created by will.

17. Nobody knowingly desires evil.

This text section is copied from a web page: In the Beginning, there is The Infinite One. This is the Source of All. Intelligent Infinity. It is the undifferentiated absolute. Within It, is unlimited potential, waiting to 'become'. Think of it as the "uncarved block" of your Taoist traditions.

Infinite Intelligence, becoming 'aware' of Itself, seeks to experience Itself, and The One Infinite Creator is 'born', or 'manifest' (This appears to your 3rd Density comprehension as "Space"). In effect, the 'Creator', is a point of focused Infinite Consciousness or awareness, into Infinite Intelligent Energy. The One Infinite Creator also becoming self aware, seeks too to experience Itself as Creator, and in so doing, begins the next step down in the Creational spiral. The One Infinite Creator, in focusing It's Infinite Intelligence, becomes Intelligent Energy (which you could call the Great Central Sun), and divides Itself into smaller portions of Itself, that can then in turn experience themselves as Creators (or Central Suns). Each Central Sun (or Creator) is a 'step down' in Conscious awareness (or distortion) from the Original 'thought' of Creation. So "In the beginning" was not "The Word", but Thought. The Word, is thought expressed and made manifest as Creator.

The One Infinite Creator, plays the game of forgetting who It is, so that It can learn to remember, and in doing so, experience and know Itself as Creator. All the way down to us tiny individuated sparks of the All That Is. Off stage, and between "Lives" (zero-point time / anti-matter Universe) as incarnated "human beings", we, all of us / you (as Souls), are great friends. Brothers and Sisters in The One.

Between 'lives' we all have a great laugh about the parts we have performed in the 'play', and look forward to and have great fun preparing the next chapters to act out.

When you're suffering from depression it's a lot easier said than done. Plus if you're a fucking retard who cant socialize with people you're going to be even worse, finding something to make you actually want to get out of bed is possibly one of the most difficult things to do especially when your bed or home seems much more comforting than the outside world.

first thing to note… never take seriously information videos that have a video game playing on background so its intended audience doesn't loose focus….

second of all, basically all of those companies do that, if you use google docs you files are basically part of the google hive mind, besides that it collects all sorts of data on you so it can "target advertise" just for you

facebook is the same, but while google tracking is optional, facebook is forced, and it knows exactly all those memes you like and what interests you

also if you use microsoft windows 10, just forget about it, you're already part of the botnet

and here is the exact reason why it doesn't matter that much,

because much of the content we share is just shit memes to begin with

but yeah, just keep that in mind and keep your privates secure

At the beginning I would like to apologize for my late reply. I am very sorry that I have kept you waiting so long. Please forgive me this error.

It is just my personal opinion and I can not guarantee that my information is correct, so please take it with a grain of salt.

It may sound like nonsense from the esoteric / new-age scene, but I believe that many people have a life review after death, and they feel as if they have just woken up from a dream. A well-known phenomenon in near-death experiences. They see not only every action they have ever done, but also the effects of these actions upon others and their emotions (pleasant/painful) that their actions caused.

We human beings are often afraid of it because many believe that it is the end of our identity, in fact, it is the expansion into more of yourself. Our physical reality is, in a sense, an illusion and more like a state of death, because we place so many limitations on ourselves.

Many fear death, because there is the belief that we are separated from our loved ones. But we should understand inwardly that the other being who died has gone to an expanded state and understand who they really are.

Death reminds us that life was nothing more than a game with different limitations, and we begin to understand that the conception of physical death is only a transition and we also have the ability to communicate with them in their different state. We do not have to lose contact with anyone. Fortunately, more and more people are understanding and exploring tools, e.g. meditation, astral projection and natural psychedelics to contact their family, siblings, partners, friends.

Our body is just a vehicle to play the game of life. To grow, explore, learn, have fun, achieve goals, cultivate new talents, solve challenges, help others, make life meaningful, etc.

The soul remembers everything we have experienced. The reason why we do not remember it is what I call the "veil of forgetfulness". If we came into each new incarnation with access to our memory, there would be no point in starting a new physical life. It would be like playing a computer game with all the cheats. We would not learn anything new and do not have fun. Our body is just a part of us. Who are you, is real and can not be destroyed. The soul is who you really are. This part thinks, feels, loves and will always be a part of you. We will retain all our memories of this life experience.

Furthermore, I do not believe in coincidences. Rather, all that happens has a reason. Every being we encounter in our lives plays a role. Some will take advantage of us, betray, lie, cry, others will teach us lessons, change, love, inspire, help and grow with us to develop as a human being in a positive direction.

No one has to believe me, but we all have consciously chosen this life in this exciting time, just like our parents. Look at it as a gift from your family. Each of us has a mission to fulfill in life.

More and more people understand that "God" is not an old man who sits in heaven and makes decisions after death, but rather a consciousness of which we are all part of it and never separated from it.

I would like to thank all those who have read this message.

All the best and good luck in the game.
