Hello /fit/.
/pol/ack here and short time lurker with lots of afflictions. Curious to know whether or not any of you guys actually go full blown natural. That means no protein shakes or any booster or shit like that. In 3 months i've lost around 7 kgs (6ft4/200lbs - smoker and alcoholic) by working my ass off and I see faggots who live on shakes, vitamins, etc, etc. I see it as cheating in a way. Even guys on kreatine say it's a natural supplement and therefore it's okay… It's a joke and the reason I say this is because one can look to history of strong men and how they accomplished their form with nothing more than a usual diet and lifestyle. I don't understand why gym fags are such pussies when you call them out on their aids. Sure, all those extra supplements help one, but isn't it a shortcut in many ways? The guys from 1-3 thousand years ago didn't have powdered protein shakes and ate meat like men. These days I keep running into jacked up roiders or powder muscles who claim they're all natural but take a shit-ton of fake shit to boost their tolerances. I'm curious to know how /fit/ feels about this and since i'm probs a faggot for not lurking more, let's just make this a QTDDTOT.

To clarify, when I say fake shit I mean specifically things like protein shakes. These get made using silicone balls which grind up the protein in order to powder everything. You're essentially ingesting plastic into your body and the matter of the fact is that there is nothing natural about it… 300 years ago there is no way one could ingest so much protein living off a natural diet unless I am wrong somehow… and if so and that is the case, then why not do things in that fashion? You see, I see that as laziness and I often wonder if other people feel the same way. Regardless. I'm looking for /fit/izens who are not even drinking protein shakes and are simply working out without the help of crutches such as shakes or supplements. I get that it takes longer if don't do it but I find guys who swear by shit like that are nothing but a bunch of weak faggots who are looking for an easy way to build muscle. IDGAF

Protein shakes are fine provided you can actually read the ingredient label and understand the purpose of every single thing in there. Most of them that you see normals gulping down are shit like Muscle Milk TM with all sorts of bullshit. Cheap crap from big supermarkets will also be full of junk. Just get some that's from a reputable source, and read the damn ingredients. If you want an example, I like NowFoods chocolate whey protein isolate.
Creatine is one of the few supplements that actually does work but unfortunately much of it is cheaply produced in china with dubious methods which causes impurities/other chemicals getting in the mix which can potentially be life threatening because your liver has to detoxify that shit. Once again, get it from reputable sources.
Diet is probably 70% of gains and exercise is the other 30%. I think scooby said something to that effect. Anyway, supplements will give you an extra 5-10%… you just have to be careful about their usage. Furthermore, I don't really consider protein powder a supplement since it is just a quick and easy vehicle to get more protein in your system and is extremely convenient. If you can space your meals well enough to devour another 30g of protein from chicken or other lean meats it's just as good if not better due to the B vitamins than taking a protein shake.
I stopped taking creatine awhile ago because while I do think where I was getting mine was fine, and I didn't run into any issues with it, you need to take it with a lot of fast-acting carbs to get it in your system. I've been clean bulking for two years and with the amount of snacking I do I have no extra wiggle room for caloric intake so I just stopped. I'd consider myself to au naturel.

Thank you for clarifying anon. And for your kindness. Makes sense when you put things that way but I still reckon it's a shortcut in a way. I look at our ancestors, or even if one looks at the statue of David, the epitome of the shape of man. or the Spartans and/or Legionairres… Shit even our dads (depending on how old you are) back in the day were in the army and at wars and fit as fuck. They didn't have these magic protein boosts we have today and I have never ever drunken one or ever intend to do so. If you say it'll only affect 5-10% in a workout, then I may as well skip it.
However, not shitting on your viewpont since you put it so adequately and amicably. But appreciate the response and would most definitely agree on youre diet vs exercise ratio. Been trying to cut down on the alcohol and eating less carbs, more salads. Lost all the manboobs and now just working on the stomach. Lost a few jean sizes, legs and torso are bigger and working hard on my core. Now just need to fix the outside if that makes sens. Appreciate your detailed response though and thanks for the insights.

Sorry, been drinking… what I am trying to say is that there is no natural way - As a normalfag (without being ridiculous in your eating habits and going full autist by eating x, y and z) you can get that much protein into body through a natural, everyday diet without using some kind of powdered drink. And that is why I call it a shortcut. Because it's a crutch to a degree. I know I will chastised for this viewpoint and I have no malice or intended ignorance on the subject. This is a purely subjective viewpoint. But I do see the powders and all the extras as a way to take the easy route. I want to get super fit. But I want to get super fit in the same way the men of renown, of the old ages did it. And it's been fucking difficult but the rewards are massive.

I can't shake (sorry for pun) the feeling that if many of these romanticized ancestral men of old were brought to today, they'd go ahead and drink the protein shakes. I used to care a lot about doing everything the authentic hard way, but what usually ended up happening in those scenarios was I didn't make fast enough progress to stick with it. But when I take the shortcuts that are more or less harmless, my fast progression keeps me motivated and as a result I end up building a stronger will little by little, rather than running out of steam before I can improve it. The way I see it, if you want your goal enough to reach it in the first place, you'll do almost anything to get there. And at the end of the day, when you're a shredded cunt nobody is going to ask you if you used creatine and then dismiss your gains.

You definitely are a faggot for making a new QTDDTOT thread when there was one in the catalog, and you're still a faggot for thinking anything not paleo is "cheating" or a "crutch." Our ancestors couldn't get anywhere near as fucking yuge as we can get, even within the realm of natty bodybuilding/powerlifting. Now we can reach that potential much easier than they could and you want to throw it in the trash because you think it's not 100% necessary. Wait until you start reaching serious plateaus and struggle to cram in enough calories to break through.
Bottom line: If it's beneficial and not significantly harmful in any way, there's no reason not to use it. If it is harmful, consider if the risks are worth the benefits. (For anybody other than advanced lifters near/at genetic max, they usually aren't.) Anything else is autism.

IDK man, there's a lot of effeminate lefties around and I wanted to announce it to give you all a background and also to show you that i'm a newfag to this board. Had no idea though and I thank you for the warm welcome. True, they had none of that but I'd argue that it was a much more physical world back then. You were forced to carry heavy shit and walk many miles, cardio was essential or else you'd die in combat as a soldier or be killed in the trade routes. Unless you're in construction, you're pretty much a very comfy human bean and have the benefit of a great diet. I would tend to think that back in the day they'd be lean and muscular due to the basic fact of survival. I don't know about the paleo diet, as I've admitted before, i'm a dumbass. I eat what I feel like eating and I know fuck all about any diet/calorie intake, etc. I just stopped eating wheat and trying to drink less beer. Since then it's helped with the weight loss and I've actually lost the mantits I had on diet alone. Feels fucking great man. Appreciate your input though.

Sorry for being a faggot. I was/am drunk (been about 10 years now) and really fighting the addiction of drinking. Replacing bad habits with good ones which is why I joined the gym and shed the weight. One of the best fucking decisions I ever made. Appreciate the feedback though. Looking to get into powerlifting once I reach my goal. I'm looking good and I'm content with where I am now but I'm going to keep going and keep pushing. Perhaps my views will change when I get there. But thank God, I think… I mean I think i've got good genes, a naturally tall frame with broad shoulders so things are looking up. Even my lady is noticing the changes and it's only been 4 months. What I meant by harmful was the manner that the protein shakes are made. There's a large proportion of plastic that one ingests if you were to drink it due to the manufacturing process. I know this because i've seen it in the factory. They use tiny plastic pellets (like bb gun pellets) in a crushing machine (think of how they stonewash jeans) and this is shit that gets mixed into it all. Granted only a fraction. But ya, it is what it is. Thanks for your opinion though.

Protein shakes, creatine, and vitamins aren't cheating. They are actually less effective than getting your protein and nutrients from healthy food sources. They do serve a purpose when the cost or preparation of good foods gets in the way of you consuming them. For example, you can get all the creatine your body needs from lean red meat, but if the cost becomes an issue creatine can be a great addition to your diet.

Nigger do you even know how it's all made?
Unless you're on the Paleo-diet I doubt it would matter whether or not you took supplements. As far as it being a cheat? I can DEFINITELY see what you mean. But I'm a cheater by nature, whatever it takes to win, yeah? You can make your own whey powder. Vitamins? Some people have deficiencies, most people want to eat as little as possible and still get the essentials. Me? As a student I can't afford the number of foods it takes to eat variety and get the essentials.
Music helps people workout better; doesn't mean it's cheating to listen to music, right? What about using wraps and braces? What about energy drinks?
Besides, when we say cheaters we mean people with implants and/or roide/performance-enhancers that really do show abnormally fast results within a very small fraction of the time it would normally take to achieve a desired result. Why as a cheater I don't take these things? I like my balls and voice, and I'm already in pretty good standards to bother spending thousands of dollars on gambling my attractiveness away at such a young age.
But I'd be a lying SOB if I didn't see from your perspective naturally. I just started taking creatine and whey powder this season. If the results are desirable? I might consider continuing it if I can afford it. I gotta say, I like my banana-reeses shakes. But I know how to fucking cook. And I could do just fine without the powders spending the money on something like clothes.

I'm pretty sure when it comes to fapping, regular release is in order - if you have no other sexual activity. If you have a gf you can fuck a couple of times per week, you don't need to fap. If you don't, you should fap once a week or every couple of days. Long-term nofap is just a good idea if you struggle with porn/masturbation addiction, i.e. edging for hours or fapping 3 times a day.
Yeah, fapping both releases stress and lowers testosterone, but "use it or lose it" applies here too. Moderation really is the key.
When it comes to porn (or erotic imagery in general), it's a different issue. It's mostly that it can cause problems with real life sexuality.
But on the other hand, looking at naked women arouses you (raises test), so it might be not so bad to look at porn/erotica before lifting (or even in general).
I think the real problems appear when you combine the two, when you masturbate to porn. You have to keep the mental stimulation of erotic imagery and the physical stimulation of masturbation separate.

Meditation helps with everything. Porn is harmful because of the dopamine issues, regular consumption prevents you from ever becoming an alpha. Guys who have a lot of sex do so because it's worth pursuing, but if you've got any fantasy you can think of at your fingertips to self-medicate with, you won't do shit. It also gives you a very inaccurate view of sex. Men are meant to have sexual release semi-frequently, so find a psychologically and hormonally healthier way to do it. Nofap is why priests touch children. If you really have to masturbate, use your imagination. The visualization practice does wonders for your memory and focus. Literotica is the only semi-acceptable form of pornography.
No.124286

Looking at women raises test but you should only look at women you could pursue. If you look at them enough, you're going to flip a switch and need sexual release. Looking at pictures means you will masturbate, but looking at women IRL means you will (hopefully) approach them.

He specifically said that taking protein shakes is not natty because 300 years ago, it wasn't possible to ingest comparable amounts of protein. Yet this is wrong. Eating tons of chicken, fish and eggs was always possible and has been done by many strongmen throughout the ages. Why should I not be natty because I drink a protein shake occasionally while Louis Cyr, who literally ate six pounds of chicken for breakfast, is still natty? He definitely took in more protein than me.
And yes, Cyr is an extreme example. Sandow, Hackenschmidt and so on weren't eating a third as much, but you can bet they got a good source of protein. Even the strongmen who talked about tempering yourself and not overeating sure as hell didn't get strong from eating salads and berries.

And you can't be insane, or loaded on medicine or bound to snap a previous surgery- you know, logical things you would expect.
Honestly, go talk to a recruiter (and definitely try /k/). I'm surprised the first anon didn't actually say this. They'll ask you some questions that will prepare you for whether or not you may or may not be accepted. Medical history, drug use history, surgery, psychological history, family history maybe. Recruiters are actually given college credits under communication/psychological-based skills for spending so much time working with men and women of different ages, determining for sure whether or not they're suitable for the military, and I guess people tend to delve into their personal matters. People will tell you that all they care about is meeting their quota, and idk how much of that is true, maybe in larger cities. The last recruiter I spoke to had set up workout days for prospective recruits to get together and go jogging/lift and ask some questions each exercise break, and we had once helped out at the local soup kitchen. It's always different I guess.

I've taken the route of trying to sever ties with loved ones and avoid emotional relationships with anyone I don't see myself being with happily for the rest of my life so I don't have to worry about feeling like shit as much in my life. Besides, it kind of stinks knowing that if I'm going to try out for the military, and assuming I make it in, I can't be with any pets or loved ones. Gotta take the loooooone road to hell I'm afraid.

If I posted a picture of my body would any of you guys be able to tell me what should i do? I'm an alcoholic, meaning I can't work right without some alcohol in me but I'm not fat either, I'm at 137. I fast a lot as well, skip breakfast and go on to eat maybe one or twice a day depending the food that's available or how hungover i am. I just need to be pointed in the right direction, like should i try to gain some weight before i start my training or just go as I am?

What are you trying to look like? Or what are you trying to be able to do? Run for long distances, lift heavy shit, look good in the mirror, feel better about yourself?
You can post a picture, and we can tell you what we think you should do, but it's ultimately up to you. Even if you get into the lifestyle that helps you meet your goals and you find it's not what you want you can just turn around and try something else once you at least get into the swing of things.
I'm personally down for seeing what you look like though. And if you're an alcoholic you should try drinking moonshine, 95% abv. Not that flavored, 40% apple pie garbage. Get you some Everclear and see if you think you can handle really being an alcoholic or if you just like drinking lite beer or cheap spirits for the appeal. Bonus points if your moonshine actually comes in a mason jar from someone deep in the mountains and can still be used as fuel.

When I say I'm an alcoholic I mean, I drink whatever is available, at times it comes to the point where water wont even enter my system and just puke it out but some whiskey fixes that. Also, I want to remain skinny but with some muscle definition, I can do manual labor with ease but some dude told me I had the physic or the framework to start building muscle mass, my problem is that I have been in imageboards for so long that wojack took completely over me and now lack any drive at all.

Always, fuck the greedy kikes. I actually do have a flash drive which can play music, I just need a battery. I'm not THAT poor i'm just placid and scrape by if that makes sense. I close my eyes and hum the music in my mind or just think of how fucked up I am because of the bad things I have done and become and try to kick it all out by pushing myself as hard as possible. I don't have money to spend on material things other than petrol (madmax.jpg) and food (admittedly on booze and cigarettes too I guess) which is usually easy stuff to make because I commute 4 hours a day and get home late. The lady also works odd shifts in the hospitality industry so it's pretty much old school. Thanks for the condolences. The woman (granny but she raised me as a kid. Long distance relationship, in and out of my life) I spoke of raised me, I found her on the couch and was alone. I held her hand and she was so cold. It wasn't her. I have that image in my mind and I try to remove myself from it. That was a dead person, not her. I've seen so many dead people (oversharing here but i'm white south african, english speaking boer) in my life… and lots of gore, but it's not the same when it's one of your own if that makes sense. and drunkposted about it in /b/ a few days ago I think. I lol'd at the image because I actually look like that picture, except my moustache is not as dark, don't have mouse ears and my eyes are grey/blue. fucking ADD'ing on you. sorry. I'm fucked, going to go for a cig and think about what it is I need to tell you, i'll come back and keep on typing. Brother, anon… you have no idea what you mean to me right now… In September it will be a year and I am struggling to let go. fuuuck. Anyways… I just wanted to let you know anon, that you shouldn't do what you said you would. Stay close to your loved ones because regret always comes too late. Family is a blessing, no matter how fucked up or dysfunctional your life is. I've been abused as a child and was in and out of various areas/ sent around if you know what I mean and seen some heavy shit. Blood isn't always thicker than water but do not purposefully disengage from those who wish to love you or love you indeed. Do not be the heartbreaker to family members. It's painful. I actually have a brother who disowned me because he married into a good family and whatnot and they're too good for us. What army are you joining and why? I'm 27 now, feel like it's too late but it was a dream of mine. Nowadays you'll end up as a pawn for shlomo, fuckit, even the FFL is pushing shit for the NWO if you're keeping track.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PxkJzcTHUU
Got a lot of surplus and even a set of stolen German army radios, a fapla cap from whomever it once belonged to and some beautiful NATO pants, some flecktarn and old school Nutria. No gun because at 14 I had put the revolver to my head twice and let's be frank. I was a big fat pussy for not pulling the trigger but it's a long story and I lose my cool in traffic. You kill a nog and you go to jail, all the cops are corrupt and the fucking law sides with the crims in this country. However, a man without a gun is a dead man so looking but don't have the $$$ to buy just yet. Still looking to get myself a left handed R5 or even a coveted R1, AKA FN-FAL . I'm okay now and i'm good. You should get good as well… Sadly, the new generation of men will never understand what it was to fight, only a few and sadly, I guess I missed the boat. But I hope that you're joining whatever army for opportunities rather than being a pawn for the jews. I feel for you anon. Do not be afraid. I do not want to offend you and i'm not a JW or religious freak. I think the church is dead. But I honestly do believe in Jesus Christ and I pray to him. You see, you have a flesh man and a spirit man. If you feed the flesh, you become a slave to sin like me, but if you feed your spirit man, and you accept Jesus Christ into your life… You're going to start seeing changes. It's not going to get easier, if it does, it might be… IDK, I don't want to lead you astray but I would recommend you read a bible or just contemplate, find a quiet spot and pray to Jesus and ask him to enter your life. Look, i'm the last person to preach, but in tears and brokenness. His grace knows no bounds and that doesn't give me the license to continue my degeneracy, but the still small voice inside of me is aware, and loving and caring. And that loneliness you speak of? You will never walk alone ever again. You may think i'm crazy, but trust me on this anon. We do not give our Father the credit He deserves. Call me a freak or what not but I look to the mountains and I find my strength. (Look up the reference).

What I meant was that if one pictures the statue of David done my Michelangelo, it is said to be the epitome of human perfection, at least the statue is most accurate to that of the male human form, it seems to be the result of pure perfection and balance. His entire body is in proportion and he is what would be considered "normal" I suppose. Bearing in mind that I don't know much about what is "normal" but it would seem that, that is the ideal body shape. Most of us aren't nearly there, or are out of proportion in one way or another. Always lie to the psychologists. They're sneaky fucks who will give the a G1G(4)fucked up rating these days. Everybody is going full PC and the standards are dropping really really hard and fast. It's sad to see the USA and Europe headed in the same direction. While this is not a military vid, (there are 3 episodes in totality), this is an example of what will be lost in a matter of a couple of years when the standards start dropping. Psychological screening is usually just there to stop you from shooting yourself or your team members but you're conditioned to kill (fuckit, idk if that's even a factor anymore) but those fucking desk jockeys are a bunch of cocksucking faggots who mostly have little understanding of the working soldier. But I'm worried about mounting debt and whether or not what I'm studying will disqualify or discredit me from what I want to do in the military. There are too many unanswered questions and I want to be fully prepared for anything I might encounter.
Assuming I make it, I might consider going back into college and going for a degree in science if I can bother being on reserve with the benefit of actually going to school at the same time to study something I can definitely utilize in the military. Maybe intelligent systems, communications or psychology, or investigative studies. Idk, I might learn how to fly some planes. Primarily something I can use in the career field.

A) Should I risk getting up later/potentially not having enough time for workout, or just have an hour and a half before I clock in for work?
B) I go back in the evenings to swim laps. This involves taking a second shower which will ultimately ruin my skin (have to take a morning shower because I have to smell clean at my job, have to take an evening shower because can't fall asleep covered in Chlorine). Protein powder you scrub. Go to Costco and get the 6lbs bag of Cytosport Whey powder it's cheap compared to other 6lbs bags or tubs…the taste is okay, it's mixed Isolate and Concentrated.
It's low in fat and almost no carbs with 130 calories for 27 grams of Protein for one scoop.
Drink it at least two times a day. Because it's so low in fat you can add half and half to it if you want. Also I use Coconut Oil when I need more fat/calories that day.
Eggs and Sausage/Bacon every morning. Use egg whites, then add ~1 oz (less is better) of cheese to the mix, this gives some more calcium, fat and protein. This nets 40g of protein just for breakfast. Add in the two shakes and you're already at 94g. I usually do a protein bar after for another 20g but you could even do a third shake.
As for dinner 8-12oz, 12oz of Skinless Chicken thighs I prefer broiled, they're tasty af. That's 60g. When I'm eating what I should I get >200g of protein. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is really useful for women because it equalizes the fight for somebody who is shorter, lighter, and more flexible, and it teaches you how to handle being pinned on the ground under a larger opponent. Kickboxing styles like Muay Thai are pretty great for fighting, but as a woman the odds of the fight never going to the ground are pretty slim. She would also do well to carry a knife (if a gun doesn't work logistically) because most people turn around just at the sight of one. however at a 2000kcal diet, I've been hanging over between 72~74kg overall weight, so in any case it seems more like I'm maintaining rather than cutting
Now the actual problem is…. I really thought I would be cutting at this caloric range, and I feel exhausted and starting to lose strength at the gym,
lately I'm even worried with having some overtrain injury with a sharp where it wasn't to have
what do now? I want to cut harder since I've barely reached 15%bf yet, there is yet another month before I take another physical exam,
however already starting to feel like crap, keeping it up could eventually in me actually losing strength instead, what is the best practice when cutting?

>I feel exhausted and starting to lose strength at the gym, lately I'm even worried with having some overtrain injury
Just working a manual job while cutting calories made me feel like I was about to hit the wall of fatigue when I went about it mindlessly. I also stopped losing weight/waistline, I'd assume that is normal because the body will adapt to a lower calory intake.
I started paying more attention to what I eat to make sure I get the nutritions I need. I can't tell if this will work for anyone else but to make it into a list
>Get enough rest and sleep, at least 1 full hour off just sitting down doing nothing in the evening, no video games or music etc, you need to rest your mind as well.
>Sleep at minimum 7-8 hours.
>ABCDE vitamin daily.
>Someone suggested orange juice with meals even if you go low carb
>milk instead of energy drinks
Eating what I think I need I ended up with almost no carbs some days, at first this would make me feel really tired but I recently realized I had done this and didn't even notice so it's probably a matter of adaption. This may also be why you're starting to feel ill, you're going too hard out all at once with a diet and schedule you're not intending to keep up in the long run. Make it into something you can keep doing, this will also ease your mental strain from trying to keep the diet and your rest may be more effective.

I'm getting enough nutrients, and I keep track of what I eat,
to give you an idea, up until now I'm maintaining a 2000kcal daily routine, and somehow I haven't even lost weight yet
I'm a 168cm manlet, but even then this daily intake of calorie shouldn't be enough for me
I'm going to try cutting it down even further now and getting lighter on the exercises
so to give you an idea that I eat enough, example of my daily meals:
> main dish lunch, pork and beans, accompanied by carrots/cauliflower and some potatoes crips
> morning shake: banana, protein powder, coffee, creatine (and other sups if need be)
> afternoon: whole bread with lots of cheese, this is basically the high fat meal, but still good enough
> dinner dish: some slow cooked stew beef meal, along with vegetables
> and even then I still drink a lot of milk with coffee, home made juices and even soda if I feel like it
overall with this meal plan I can take up to 100~140g of protein easily, making up the of the calories between fat and carbs
I'm the faggot pushing the cooking general forward, if you want to learn more

just after writing the comment above I stumbled upon a video that pretty much nails on why I'm having bad results…
< rest days vs active days
so this can really be the drastic difference here, since a workout + cardio can sum up easily 200~400kcal
so even though I'm doing 4 times a week, I may be under eating during workout days but compensating during rest days
at the end of the day kind of equalizing and not really showing much results,
this may be why I'm tired still but not loosing, gonna adjust for this factor and see how it pans out

Aside from the basic motivation necessary to keep going when you want to be impatient about your gains, it's probably your diet and sleep. Count all of your calories in a day from morning to evening. It should be somewhere between 3,000 and 7,000. And make sure to go to sleep before midnight as often as possible. Aside from that, pick one routine that emphasizes the compound lifts (squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, row, pull-up, dip) and stick with it for at least 4 months before you change anything. Progressive overload is when you keep increasing the weight of your lifts, and it's very important with the compound stuff. As soon as you can hit every rep at a given weight, go up the next time and stay at the new weight until you can hit every rep, then continue repeating this process.

I'm new around here /fit/ because yadda yadda boring personal life information you don't care about.
I am 24 and I'm slightly overweight, used to be Mr. Muscle (not bodybuilder but I was a farmhand) but now I'm starting to become Mr. Belly.
My question is this… do I need all this technical shit?
If I for example start just exercising with push ups for say one hour a day while eating fairly healthy aside from random junk food here and there, will I see results or will I become a lardass even with the exercise?
I am aware that junk food is bad, I'm not American so I don't chow down kgs of McDonalds but is a random soda with 10g of sugar in it every other day that bad?^
And can I just do whatever exercise I want as long as I feel the burn or do I need to follow some strict planning and whatnot?
I'm asking mostly because I'm not too clever and while I thought before that building muscles was simple easy (do a certain movement as long as you can as often as you can) but browsing this section is making me rethink that.
Also should I try to focus on a single spot where I want muscles or I can go and do as many exercises as I can as often as I can?

Most regular cans of soda have at least 39g of (shit)sugar. You shouldn't drink soda every day, it's empty calories with zero nutrition value that you only drink because you have an addiction.
>If I for example start just exercising with push ups for say one hour a day while eating fairly healthy aside from random junk food here and there, will I see results or will I become a lardass even with the exercise?
An hour of doing pushups is insane and not going to help. You need multiple compound lifts at least 3 days a week if you want stay /fit/. Try doing exercises that simulate what you did as a farmhand

Easier said than done, my house is absolutely small and I worked with horses, mostly cleaning then, shovelling shit and carrying their meals.
I've been trying to get a manual job, figured that having a heavy job that requires physical strength is the easiest way to get buff, however there are none, only stuff at the local library.

The main problem with drinking soda and juices frequently is that you end up substituting that for water. As long as you keep it in moderation (<40g of added sugars and avoid high-fructose) and drink plenty of water you should be fine
>I got a sweet tooth sadly and since I'm italian bread and pasta are basically 70% of the shit I eat.
wop here ~60% of my calories come from carbs like pasta and oats. That's totally fine.

If you don't have the space for more equipment consider getting a gym membership. Ancient strongmen are a meme. Before modern bodybuilding and powerlifting, barely anyone actually knew how to lift and eat right. What you look up to from the circus days were the 1% who trained right but couldn't explain why any of it worked. Your average fitness buff would have been malnourished and had a hard time just getting 150lbs overhead, at least until Mark Berry and Joseph Hise brought squats and milk addiction onto the scene.
Protein shakes are just a convenient powdered food. Practically, they're only supplying something like 15-30 grams of daily protein to their users. Ancient athletes would have just consumed an obscene amount of meat and dairy that your average peasant couldn't afford.

Take the weekend off from any leg exercises to get proper recovery, squats will make it worse.
I went from neet to working in a grocery store and experienced all of this, took a few months before I could handle it right.
The calory calculation I used is
>60 cal/hour for doing nothing
>250 cal/hour when working
so if you want to stay even add 190 calories for every hour of active work. Don't compensate with sweetened drinks, if you drink milk during the day and add something like creme fraiche to your meals you can easily get there with no excessive amount. For example
>100grams of creme fraiche is 323 calories
and you'll easily at 200g with a meal so that's 646 cals.

Jacking off. People said take biotin but I don't know what all of this shit means, I don't know the repercussions of too much delta-GmbH-6 oils and not enough Jonquie-chu sparkle fungus in my penal glands.

My cat, Noobs, has been missing since Friday, the day Rich Piano died, and it's been a week since I've been away at college. I'm pretty bummed; I've been friends with that cat since 10th grade, for almost 8 years now. And he ran away not a week after I left. I left my friend behind and he ran away from home.
How do I work out when I feel very alone and sad?

How many proteins should i aim to eat per day when bulking(clean bulk). I've read so many contradicting things. I've read somewhere that 80g of protein per day are more than enough to sustain muscle growth, anything over is just overkill.
Also, how would someone achieve 2g of protein per lbs of body mass, that's 300+g of protein per day. You'd have to eat only meat, eggs, dairy and protein shakes? I think i've never in my life even when close to eating 200g. Even when i binge ate at a bbq.
I am 150lbs and yesterday i ate 130g of protein. Today i think i can only reach 95g(my food is shit). How much will that impact my gains? No gains or just suboptimal, like 90% the gains?

Nu-uh. And if I'm cutting and can manage to get 100g of protein then you can bulk to your needs.

I'm sorry man. My cat I've owned for 10 years died shortly after hurricane Harvey. I wasn't prepared at all. It's been three weeks now and I'm still brooding.
But don't let that get in the way of your gym. Wherever you catbro is, you won't help yourself by not working out.
But if you're really sad, then set an amount of time off from the gym, but make sure you go at the time you've planned.
