What do you listen to pump yourself up while working out?

 No.123602

I usually just play the Bassnectar station on Pandora, but for 500m rows and beyond I play "Running in the 90's" from Initial D.

>Bassnectar

definitely interesting..

>for 500m rows and beyond I play "Running in the 90's" from Initial D

my autism makes quite difficult to differentiate seriousness from sarcasm

I'm serious, eurobeat is a great genre to get pumped to. Today I PR'd in the 500m row by blaring anime music on the speakers, and my brother and neighbor were in the room. No shame, no regrets, we're all nerds and what matters is that I improved.

Weird shit like electrocore. I See Stars, The Browning, Korn's Path to Totality, Sky Eats Airplane, lots of metal remixes, maybe a few old Linkin Park Meteora songs. I think most of the guys in the gym with me appreciate that I'm not a speakerfag and use headphones.

Disco mixes if not listening to Power Metal, DJ hip-hop/rap mixes, or Electronic. Disco makes me feel like I have a perm and two black bitches waiting for me to finish leading the dancefloor to KC & The Sunshine Band and other classic hits you recognize but will never know the name of or the artists.

I don't care who it is, the guy is rapping and it ruins it.

 No.123652

i dont even care anymore, i just put on music so people wont hear my grunts

what do you think rap is?

 No.123700

>>123677

>>123639

I define as rap something that sounds like Action Bronson, for instance… something that reminds of 90s and early 2000.

Nowadays we have mostly trap, and Death Grips can't be really confined in a genre… they are in fact referred to as 'experimental'

>>123652

Just curious, do you really need to make noise? Isn't intensely exhaling enough?
