Hello, I am Principal Donald.

I would like to create a fitness course for our /school/, and I would like to consult you on how we can get people fit.

Currently, in the school curriculum, I asserted that for each week, our students will get 3 2-hour P.E. lessons.

List of things to gather info about:

1. Workout for beginners (no expensive equipment)

2. Information about dieting to put on our textbooks

3. How to enhance the body (for a potential year 2 course)

Have a look at >>>/school/15 and tell me what you think.

I think this sort of role-playing is kinda autistic

 No.114567>>114568

>>114563

No, it's more of a resource dump in general.

I was hoping the board will infodump something and I will be parsing through the info to create something that people can do if they have a little commitment (emphasis on the "little").

The name is just to attract people.

More like "8cahn for beginners/weenies/normalfags".

>>114571

We are talking about making the sticky a better fomat. I read it and I am not satisfied with how http://ss.fitness/ is full of links for other articles, which is distracting to the core. And http://exrx.net/Exercise.html is not in a beginner-moderate-advance manner, thus causing sensory overflow, another case of distraction.

And the info-images sticky are filled to the brim and not organized well. Not to mention that the graphics varies in quality. >>2269 caused a lot of chatter instead of dumping, making the sticky full when it should be archived and start a new thread.

I am not saying the sticky is bad, just saying that resources should be in a format with low mid-text links and organized knowledge base.

Almost forgot:

The class will collaborate between /fit/, /ck/ and /k/, since knowing how to cook helps maintaining weight, and self defense is the best extracurricular activity for staying fit (since it has a big work load and provides discipline).

I don't want to be a negative Nancy, but I think this board has use for all decent threads it can get right now.

1. Personally, I'm a big fan of the program at http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/about-start-bodyweight-program.html , because (1) it has little to no hurdles to get started on (only thing you need is a pull-up bar somewhere), and (2) it makes you do your stretches, which I think is very important for beginners.

2. I believe the key for eating better is starting where you are and then making incremental changes over time, otherwise most people run of cheer willpower before quitting like a new years resolutioner. I recommend:

-Record how you're eating now.

-Identify things you really want to change (e.g., You have orange juice with breakfast, but you'd rather be someone who drinks green tea.).

-Implement the change for a while, until you feel that it really has sunken in.

-Attack the next thing.

Also, make sure you're doing it for yourself and no-one else. I like to not talk about these things with people at all. It's a spiritual process in a way.

3. I don't understand the question.

In case you're asking about advanced physical training, someone who reached an intermediate level should be able to do research by himself.

 No.114602

Some basic rules for creating the course:

1. Equipment should be under $50USD (more expensive equipment will be reserved for heat 2)

2. Example mix-and match recipient should be provided to make people fit (tasty-like video would attract people as well)

3. We need a better version of a food pyramid, ons each for loosing weight and gaining muscle mass

4. Have excrecise that ties in to self-defense techniques shown in /k/ (exercise that strengthens different types of fighting skills)

To really convert the normalfags and basement dwellers, maybe ask /a/ and /co/ for top characters so we create workout routines for them (of course we need generalization to fit more characters) ;^)

>Workout for beginners (no expensive equipment)

I used to train at home. Bench press was replaced with push-ups with extra weight on the back, regular squats - with unilateral squats and extra weight. So I got a snapping hip syndrome on both legs despite proper technique in squatting was my priority. Now I'm a firm believer that home training is bullshit unless you have a huge home for actually good equipment.

Depends on your goals. If you want to be able to lift heavy objects or bodybuild, yes, you'd want a gym.

The average person hardly knows that they have lats. They can make a ton of gains on bodyweight: body awareness, coordination, balance, strength, flexibility.

>I got a snapping hip syndrome on both legs

Maybe you've had a predisposition or went too heavy too fast. That's nothing you hear of commonly.

How much drugs are we allowed to pump into the students?

…because Master Blaha is frequently telling me that we gain more if we just take steroids and sit around on our asses, than we do if we don't take anything and go to the gym.

I have to say, though, that I don't like the idea of millions of chinese people on roids. Their massive population under a dictatorship, reminds me of the drone army from Star Wars or something. Those big roided drones, they had shields, so they were pretty tough to beat even with lightsabers.

Dude that's fucked but you MUST do Plyometrics and asymmetric Shit like lunges, and balance with 3:1 ratio back to front. That means hammies and bum takes priority one. Lunges my nigga.

Long jumps body weight, vertical jumps, squat jumps, low walks, and fucking yoga for God'$ sake do it. Like start with 1 min of the shit you saw that one time then 5 min of that vid you looked up then 20 min of asanas because fuck man you have to rotate and stretch everything always. Recovery is God. Training is the Devil you must combat gloriously but Heaven is in the recovery always.

 No.114662>>114681

>>114562 (OP)

You MUST include the esoteric shit man. I mean esoteric numerology workouts man. Like, you have to praise the number 3 for your 3 sets to go better and shit. Go to fringe and ask around for theories and shit about unlocking muscle and Neuro potential and magick based workouts that'll be a fucking mind bender. Also magickal recovery/regen.

Beyond that body weight progressions are best. Progress to hand stand pushups, one arm pushups, one arm pull ups, muscle ups, Sprint levels, and all the gymnastics sht. OVERCOMING GRAVITY-> look that shit up. That should be the 45 min people work on while the other hour and fifteen is for normal body weight and Plyometrics.

Always put Plyometrics first, that means jumps and clapping push ups and clapping anything, with decent rest times because you need to build elastic bouncy strength not just fucking STEENGTH because that's what youth is. It's like brittle rubber vs elastic rubber you want the latter.

So plyo low rep high sets first then speed agility plyo conditioning mid reps mid sets second then gymnastic stuff then sprints intervals because fuck you sprints you're last and will build character when On the end and finally the yoga. Break out the incense and candles we're going deep real quick. Do the whole "accept yourself for all you are and are not" Shit but the beginning of the class better be "YOU ARE NOTHING YOU WILL PROGRESS OR DIE TRYING IF YOUR CRY I WILL SHOOT YOU IF YOU GIVE UP I WILL SHOOT YOU IF YOU FINISH LAST I WILL SHOOT YOU IF YOU FINISH ALIVE I WILL SHOOT HERE WE DIE TRYING OR DIE LIEING TO OURSELVES ABOUT WHAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF AND I SHOOT LIERS NOW GIVE ME 333 PUSHUPS OR I WILL SHOOT YOU"

Also for diet, no grains no milk no sugar no gmo. No Shit meat. Wild caught fish, free range meat, eggs, veges, low sugar fruit, and liquid all around great supplements. No stretching before workouts longer than 3 sec each, dynamic warm ups better. And blend and eat egg shells in fruit/vege smoothies to remineralize your teeth and bones. Milk from cows likely diminishes bone and teeth growth. You can grow taller at any age, a wider jaw at any age, bigger and stronger at any age, it's just a matter of nutrition and psychosomatic b.s.

Qi Gong and Tai Chi, Qi points and energy visualization/manipulation for super gains and super brAin abilities and everything else. Seriously integrate the esoteric shit, practice it first then talk about it. For instance imagine magical spiral drills running through you breAking up old energy and thought patterns fucking your gay constipated ideAls and logic up so the real waters of truth and rebirth can flow in. Also meditation should be a beginning and end of day requirement for everyone evolved. Fuck kids and students and the other dyke niggas they need to chill and pay attention to this fucking knowledge.

Also combat class for some life philosophy on shit.

Be cautious with things that can damage joint health. Military is famous for grinding peoples joints into the ground because of 'muh hardening up'. The wonder of conditioning commonly takes longer for joints and ligaments than it takes for muscles, pace varies greatly.

Let me lastly bring up that an online course will be challenged teaching good form. For someone completely untrained mastering a good push up might take over a year, and then you'll have people with bad posture, who will have an even harder time. Make clear that the goal is not 'increasing your reps', but to 'get better at the exercise'.

There's an Overcoming Gravity pdf online that shows bodyweight progressions, without and with equipment, based on the exercise. Otherwise It's over 50 besides the pull up bar. Someone posted starrbodyweight.com that has an image of a bunch of progressions too.

Wrestling drills and exercises are good for turning into a meat wall, with all around great strength and flexibility.

Dance is great for cardio that harmonizes movement patterns like yoga for greater balance, coordination, mental health, cardiovascular, and whatever.

Power lifting would be great for year two when everyone has all around fitness and strength and flexibility so they don't get injured.

Sprints, interval running, is actually one of the best things for weaklings and Big Guys alike. Fucking wonderful exercise, because it requires coordination and balance and to pick your Damn feet up at top speed and exertion so you don't fall and break your face.

Required logging of all stats and progress is a must, great skill to learn, stay organized and pay attention when you're getting weaker or stalling because that means not enough rest, not enough food, not enough healthy Shit, low mental health, working too hard in or out of school, or being sick. Take yo vitamins too.

Liquid vitamins are best all around;multi vitamins and minerals, fruit and vege liquid supplements, krill oil, and probably a nootropic sort of thing.

Vitamin water also good.

Having team exercise is good, like, run to the other side, fill these bags with sand, carry them back, and stack higher and higher a wall, then we're going to throw Shit at each other and those who didn't complete the wall in time get shitty defense.

Yeah games are good. Throw puff balls, dodge balls, something. Basketball, sports. Soccer. There's more clever ones in existence.

Also for gymnastics, handstands and cart wheels and L sits and levers and planche push ups and a bunch of other Shit with little to no equipment needed, so incorporating that stuff would be pretty great.

Build PVC paralettes for cheap: https://youtu.be/_qDRgZk5RqQ

Parallel bars will cost but paralettes are great for deep push ups, L sits, tucks, etc, which are some of the toughest shit.

A pull up bar is superior however, and should be your priority over paralettes, yet it would cost more unless you build one shitty or half assed. Best to just put a broom between some chairs for inverted rows, and save to build a pull up station or installment a year in.

Tape around a pipe or thick piece of wood between something raised will do ya.

I also recommend throwing or lifting stones, with emphasis on perfect form. Get them from a river or something no problemo, throw them outside.

Parallel bars will cost even to build, about as much or more than a pull up bar, so leave that for the gymnastics club or year 2/3. To be honest pull up rings are beast mode and should be a year one purchase over a pull up bar. They are less than $50. Rings are the best exercise tool, push ups pull ups whatever, you can adjust the height. They build stabilizers, activate muscles way way better.

Sticky is way too overwhelming for beginners. Every board makes this mistake to introduce people to knowledge. Info-dripping is the main goal.

Two years of gym training (2015-2017) gave me basic insights on what workout is like. Might as well try passing on knowledge to others in an easier fashion, instead of hiring a gym coach like me.

First, I must add that mobility is ridiculously important. It'll save you a trip to snapcity. Basic stretching and mobility. Perhaps an option in classes for yoga and mindfulness. I understand if it seems like crap. But it's still a focus of belief for a good number of us. Hippie dippy shit aside, mobility is important.

Also I disagree with the placement of types of exercises before diet. Maybe if basic diet and nutrition is covered in number 2 but honestly if you don't start with a simple overview of the basics, diet/nutrition, cardio, and lifting, you're not doing it right imo.
