No.193260 [View All]
Hello all you marvelous deviants! Since Baron's discussion of changes and improvements is buzzing I thought I would go ahead and add in my own contribution. I loved the Ero Empire games both as a participant and viewer, and they generated a lot of content. Now, I don't really have the time (motivation) to make an empire, but I DO know how to run games. So here we go!
Now a note to people who played or read through EE before- I am not Kadmos, and won't pretend to be able to pick up his stuff. Instead I'm going to run these games as something different, with different rules which will be spelled out at the beginning and will not change until game's end. There will be a limit to the number of players at first too, which probably isn't going to be too rough since we're just starting to establish new life here.
I mentioned game's end. Unlike previous EE episodes, I am not planning a sandbox. Currently, I am writing out a scenario with a clear end point in mind, at which point a summarized story line will be presented and planning will begin for the next game. What I want to do here and now is establish how much interest there would be in both playing in the game itself, and role playing in the setting as it evolves.
So what do you say? Are you interested in the idea? Would more structure to the game make it more engaging? I have a decent vision of what this will be but obviously it's not set in stone until the whole program actually starts.

NOTE: This game is intended to promote activity and lewdness, I understand that you might not have time to make your post all of what you like which is why i imposed no minimum or maximum and even offer a time extension if needed. None was asked, and no story post offered, this action therefore has not happened. I will give you then next four hours to post your snippet.

Y'know, I think I might just actually have to drop out. It was kind of a mistake to get into this right at the start of another semester, and while I'm not holding everyone up by much right now, it's just going to get worse later in the year.
I do sincerely hope the rest of you keep going with this, I'm interested to watch the rest of this game, even if I don't have a role in it. And I do want to see you run another six games after this, GM. Both to spite that one dude, and so that I might be able to jump into one when the time is right.

With fond farewells to the Graywood Collective we advance into the next turn.
The Civility of the Battleground 3 - (0) + (2 hexes, 2 development, 2 settlement) = 9 resource points
Grastia Entertainment Inc. 12 - (1 road) + (3 hexes 4 developments 4 settlement) = 22 resource points
Emet Collective 17 - (1 road, 3 settlement) + (4 hexes, 6 development, 8 settlement) = 31 resource points
Hundred Scales 18 - (1 road, 3 settlement, 2 army) + (4 hexes, 6 development, 6 settlement) = 28 resource points
THIS SPOT COULD BE YOU
The rapacious expansion of the beastmen and dryad trives of the far west seem to have proven their downfall, just as their vanguard crossed the hard mountains to reach the Kingdom host of Grastia Entertainment. What has become of their once burgeoning collective? Perhaps it is the advance of winter, the fell force taking its toll on more than just the serpents of the Hundred scales. As it has every year the northern ice creeps south and the mountains gain a fresh dotting of snow, but this year is more intense, as the summer was scalding this winter proves chilling and it may take more than the hearth to warm those caught in the cold. As the wilds become impassable, the merchants setup their own homes and shanty towns in and among the settled places. This also has a deleterious effect on the passage of information.
World Events:
Graywood Collapse: RIP Silver, hope to see you back!
Winter is Coming: It's a cold season, snow and ice in the north and the mountains, or just plain cool temperatures in the normally overhot south.
Settlers not of Catan: Merchants of many races are establishing shanty towns in and around your settlements, PLACE ONE FREE SETTLEMENT IN ADDITION TO ONE PAID SETTLEMENT THIS TURN.
Tyrnall For What?: A new civilization has appeared in the northwest!
Icy Conditions: Regions not linked by roads may not share news this turn.

Rules Addendum: So I said i wouldn't change the rules and in a way, I'm not. I am however adding rules out of necessity. These will not limit existing players in any way.
Ruins: When a civilization retires from the game, their settlements will become ruins and their roads will remain intact. Roads are universal and may be used by anyone, but ruins will transform into active settlements when explored and acquired by any civilization. The extent to which these settlements maintain their original populations is up to the acquiring player, but refrain from using previous players' characters.
New Players: It's clear to me that as this is a long-term game, I will need to be accepting of new players as time goes. The economy is broken in a few turns anyway so it really won't effect much in this edition of the game anyway. If you are interested in joining the game, please communicate with me on the discord server. I may soon be willing to break my five player limit, so if you have ideas and want to explore the game, come and talk to me.

Action: explore southeast of capital, build settlement and road
====
Congratulations!
You've been selected as the lucky winner of our first Saturnalia giveaway!
Your GRAND PRIZE winning entitles you to a luxurious new home to the southeast of the city near the new settlement of Lakeside. This gorgeous lakefront property was built near an immaculate shrine from the last era and has miles of open scenery all around.
In addition to the home itself, your new manor is staffed with five talented maids that are more than eager to tend to your needs, all wages paid by Grastia Entertainment for the next five years, as well as 50,000 tokens eligible to be used at any Grastia Entertainment location.
Please be prepared to present the attached deed to household staff on arrival. This prize may also be exchanged for an extra 50,000 tokens at Grastia Entertainment corporate headquarters, 69 Main Plaza, Capital City, suite 400.

"A house? The demons are giving me a house? I don't even remember entering this giveaway." Tenmar sighed, looking over the letter. The dark haired man was usually the first to dwell on the negatives of any new situation and was very much allergic to change. His father, meanwhile, took another look at the map.
"Come on boy, you know if you take the extra casino tokens, they'll just be gone before you know it."
"Yeah, because you'll burn through it all in the nightclub. I don't care about any of that."
"And doesn't your grandfather live out that way too? I think some time out of the city will do us all some good." Noyen prodded, the veteran workman adjusting his glasses. "Besides, I'm curious to see what kind of place they built. These Grastians know how to pitch a tent, but can they raise a roof?" He chuckled.
"Well… I suppose as long as GE's paying the staff. It's just a huge pain to move out all the sudden…"
"Oh quit your glooming, it's a Saturnalia present! And one we're not like to get again. Doesn't hurt to at least scope the place out."

>Action: Explore/Acquire South of existing settlement. Develop Border between this hex and the Holdfast. Build Road from Holdfast to here (1). Add "Free Settlement" here.
Patrols in the Holdfast's southern hinterlands report that refugees and migrants from south and west have taken up residence, establishing a town of tents and shanties. The only structures with any sort of permanence are a brothel/alehouse/town hall, and a hardware store. Being that they are at least human-majority, the Order undertakes to place them under the protection of the Soldiers of Tyrnall, despite what some of the 'townsfolk' might desire. This initiative is both justified and facilitated by the fact that many of their fighting age men have fallen in defense of their families, or else been weakened by hunger and exhaustion.
>Action: Establish Settlement across the river from the Holdfast (3).
A long held ambition of the Order is the reclamation of Sothfala's eastern riverbank from its monstrous inhabitants. Given that their population is burgeoning under strictly enforced and generously compensated procreation quotas, the newest crop of the Soldiery has been applied to crossing the rebuilt bridges and engaging the 'locals'.
>Action: Raise Unit at the Holdfast (2).
In support of their expanding borders and the increased possibility of interlopation and infiltration, the Lords Legendary proclaim the muster of a battalion of Knights-Venturer. Veterans of campaigns through mount and vale, these younger warriors are eager to seek and destroy any threat to the Order which presents itself. Blessed by Tyrnall with strength and speed, they act and move as cavalry despite the ubiquitous vow to bear their armor with their own strength, thus eschewing horses or other mounts.
I'm leaving it up to the GM whether this constitutes a good enough writeup to skate in under the wire.

YEAR 2 START
Well we didn't lose any players over that extended break, thank goodness. Thank you all for bearing with me, the issues have been resolved and should not reoccur. Although I may be late with the last update this month.
FIRST! The economic update
First to act as usual is the HUNDRED SCALES, the merchantwomen of the lamia clans have expanded and taken advantage of their pseudo citizens, as have the others, in their case this brings them to a new grand total of 44 resource points!
Next, splitting their action into two sections was Grastia Entertainment Incorporated, who this time have doubled their holdings and shelled out a fancy gift! New total 31 points!
The Emet Collective are opening up a wide lead now exploiting difficult to get terrain, and bringing their resource total to 48!
Finally, not to be left behind, the recent wave of settlers has allowed The Civility to expand to three settlements, having a new total of 11 resource points!
Don't forget there's a blank space here for some ambitious empire to crop up!
But Winter has ended, long though it was, and now we move to the rebirth, the chill evaporates, the rains and sun return, snow melts and crops can be raised again! But the winter is hard, and sometimes, things die. News and travel flow once more and as the season progresses two important rumors dominate the conversation in the stalls of travelling merchants. The roads aren't safe anymore! Bandits prowl and attack at random, especially in the central plains. But most distressingly, the walls and border patrols that once marked out the Ogroch civilization… are gone.
EVENTS: Spring! It's a season of recovery, repair, and planting.
News again! You may now react to the greater world once more.
Dangerous roads. This used to be such a nice neighborhood, but now we have bandits?
History's Mysteries. The Ogroch prevented your civilizations from growing for hundreds of years… but why did they suddenly disappear? Did they disappear? Were they ever real? What are those coins?

In the frozen lands know as Terra Titanas small orc tribes have been fighting against eachother for millenia, just small monster groups fighting for the control of a frozen waste full of giant monsters and strange magics. That infighting evolved into deep relations and the alliance of different orc 'kingdoms' into a civilization where war, fertility and freedom were the pilars. That civilization is known as the North Kingdoms. Even if they have a deep civilization with a senate and some sort of 'republic democracy' they were still mistaken as savage beasts, yet they didn't mind because they found the other races equally savage and only good to be enslaved and impregnated.
Their capital is known as the Glaciem Murum, a set of caves and buildings arround a frozen mountain that reached the clouds.
>Home is the dark red spot in the far north

Action: Explore/Expland to the south hex with little vegetation and woods.
Second Action if allowed: Explore/Expand to the south forest hex.
The sky was dark, just clouds over the mighty Glaciem Murum. On a small frozen hill at the feet of the Murum an orc in a centurion armor was riding his wooly rhino, protecting himself from the cold with the pelt of a dire lion. He was wearing no helmet, long bangs of messed hair felt down his face and his unshaved beard of a day made his chin feel like sandpaper. He was a large male, even for orc standars, 8 feet of muscular fortitude in a green pale skin full of scars. Cruel blue eyes just looked at the horizon beyond the frozen lands of Terra Titanas.
Centurio Lupo Augusto, hero of wars and heir of the Sanguineus Lupos clan, was commanded by the senate to explore the warm lands of the south. The kingdoms were being stagnated, most of the hunt went south and the great beasts they proudly hunt went too far to the north where no orc can survive. There was also a worrying lack of slave cattle. The kingdoms were in great danger.
Something distracter Lupo from his thoughts, a great north vulture came, landing in the massive arm of the centurio. The orc took a chunk of meat from a bag tied on his belt and gave it to the vulture as he unwrapped a scroll from its leg. It was a message from his explorers. After days of travel it was confirmed there was life beyond the south. Exotic small animals and green living plants were everywhere, also great variety of berries never seen. The orcs of that land never left the north mountains, so for them any kind of fruit was basically a berry because those were the only vegetables they ever tasted. The scroll also confirmed that there were no hostile forces near, making it safe for expanding. That was the information Lupo was hoping for.
He hit the sides of his wooly rhino, going back to the camp to movilize the settlers. The difficult times the kingdoms suffered made it impossible for the senate to aprove the use of the legion to expand south because there was always the fear of a behemoth attack. It was a new chance and a new hope to find new lands, new opportunities and new slaves to exploit.
Long live the free kingdoms of the true people!
Regnum Vult!

nope, you can take as many of the actions listed in the rules as you like, but each one has a limitation to how many times per turn, so you may only explore and acquire a new hex once per turn. You may develop the border between your hexes, build a road, build a settlement, raise an army…. but you have to abide the hard limit of number of actions and resource point costs that are presented in the rules.

Actions of the Kingdoms:
Explore and adquire the south forest hex. (0)
Build road to South. (1)
Raise army: The Hastam Legion. (2)
Move army south. (0)
Screams and yells were filling the air, small houses burning as the explorers were harvesting the goods the land was offering. The hunt in those wild lands were small and unsatisfactory, but the slavery harvest was, while insuficient, enouth to give hopes to the expedition. A human village was being raided, a few corpses laying down and bleeding while the crows of the north were released to feed on them. Even with a few deads, the casualties on the human side were at a minimun as they were rounded and taken by the orcs. Noone was spared as the nord orcs were very efficient regarding slaver.
The women and the children, regardless of gender, were raped in front of the men, ruining their holes as the fathers were struggling hard, but seeing their loved ones used as cheap toys was taking from some of them even the will to fight. It was a slow proceture, just destroying the will of the men before they were fed strange potions that would castrate them, making their testicles not work anymore just to release weak useless seed, then use a series of potions and medicines that would make their bodies become like women and then used as animals of burden in settlements. It was a long proceture and it could look like if it is cruel, but orcs didn't see humans as sentient creatures, just animals to be used to breed and tame, just spared from death to be used for a higher purpose. The commander of that expedition, Centurio Lupo Augusto, didn't had time for silly games for the youth, standing inside his commander tent and looking at the few maps they managed to do with so little resources, thinking of the next move as more information about the uncharted lands made him more cautious. His men were already preparing to go south, to some strange uncharted woods as they wanted to secure a route to a mountain that could be seen in the horizon. Lost on his thoughts the Centurio ignored a heavy noise coming from the north, but one of the explorers came inside the tent to inform him.
"Centurio! Troops from the north!"
The large orc just looked at him for a moment, annoyed as he followed him outside, seeing a full legion following the roads they finished building a few days ago. It was a nice surprise, making him smile as he looked at them coming. One of them moved closer, hitting his chest and being firm in his position.
"Centurio Lupo Augusto? We are the Hastam Legion. We were called to arms under your command with the aproval of the Senate and your father Rex Augusto. We are here to follow your orders and keep the roads safe for the advancement of the Kingdoms." The loyal soldier informed Lupo before he handed him some scrolls with certifications and basic paperwork.
"Good,I was starting to believe we were going to be stuck in the middle of savage lands and make a fool of the Kingdoms in case we were underarmed." Lupo said before looking at the papers, satisfied. "Tell the men to rest and enjoy the harvest. Tomorrow we'll march south and we don't know what we'll find, yet we didn't found any decent hunt like in the north. You may go. Regnum Vult."
"Regnum Vult!" the soldier said before returning with the massive legion of well armed and trained orcs, set free to rape and claim whatever they could get they hands to.
The Centurio took the papers, bringing them to the tent so he might keep meditating. He didn't expect any true menace, pretty convinced any other humanoid race that weren't orcs to be just savage animals. It was an easy task to expand and do what their primitive ancestors couldn't do.
Regnum Vult!

Action: Finish road to and explore river delta, settle fishing village, develop Northwestern border.
With the discovery of a new river cutting through the edge of the wood and rich bounty of food and resources along the coast beyond a new expedition is dispatched to claim it in the name of the Great Mother. Increased hunter patrols along the new road ward off bandits, and those brave and foolish enough to attack quickly find themselves captive 'husbands' for the coming mating festivals.

Action: Raise Army [Hunter Scouts] in Coiled hills.
With a new thirst for knowledge regarding the world outside their forest, the Iztacoatl mandates a squad of hunters mixed with the hardier of their beastfolk citizens be mustered to begin exploring far outside their usual range. Of course, this is no mere small hunting party, normally counting little more than four-to-six heads at most which rely on cover of the trees and rivers and their knowledge of the terrain to win out against their prey, but a full troop numbers a couple dozen strong.

Action: Expand outward into the plains to the northwest, develop Northwestern border.
Sweetheart, First of her Name, has consolidated her hold over the Khanate. This sounds very formal, very leaderlike. Most of what it involved was challenging the last of her rivals to the Cum'ha'rai, the ancient form of single combat that has settled disputes between tribes for time immemorial.
Of course, Sweetheart brought a secret weapon to the fight.

Once the last of her foes at home was handled, there was only one direction to march: outward.
Since they do not sow their own fields, gathering resources inevitably takes the form of gaining control of peasantry to do the work for them. With the amount of foodstuffs and crafting materials needed, this requires a fighting force.
Action: Raise Army [The Red Horde] at Briarton
For years, the Bun'ari have ravaged and pillaged as a means of getting the resources they need. They are more than capable of fighting as units of a dozen up to a hundred horsewomen at a time. Constituting themselves into an army, however, is far different. It requires not only coordination, but discipline. The natural desires to claim what is theirs like some gang of pickpockets cannot be tolerated. Thankfully, there's a way to fix this problem:
Give them a spiffy new identity built around being the best warriors on the field, and then drill them until they vaguely resemble this idea.
The Red Horde is the first of these experiments in large cadres of skilled forces. Each woman is given a red handprint on her body, marking her as a member of the Horde. Each day they rise, expend their sexual energy, then they drill their minds and bodies into fighting form. Drilling's hard when all you want to do is fuck, but they are determined! It's all about being the best damn warrior in the entire Khanate, because when you're the best, you get the best choice of loot and pussy at the end.
Each Horde represents thousands of the Bun'ari's finest horse archers and spearwomen, all under one authority. While their numbers and organization fluctuate slightly, they are commanded by one of Sweetheart's Chosen daughters, Muffin the Unbloodied. They are to be the tip of the spear, edge of the blade when it comes to the expansion efforts. Though wild, aggressive, and still desiring to jump anything attractive, their ferocity, accuracy, and sheer numbers would hopefully make up for their lack of silly things like 'knowing what a formation is' and 'not riding into a box canyon to chase after a boy with a really cute butt'.

Been busy most of this week so not a lot of time to write, quite action post to get my turn in, then will try to write some more substantial fluff tomorrow and maybe set something up with Mystery to establish Elf/Snake relations if I have time after errands.
Also I poked you about it on the discord but left out my fishing settlement and tile improvement, GM-man.
Action: Move [Hunter Scouts] south west from Coiled Hills
The scouting expedition begins their long and treacherous trek over the mountains, doing their best to give the elven artificers in the area a wide berth as they pass. The road is rocky and harsh, terrain alien to those so used to the protection of the forest canopy and with winter fast approaching the journey will only get harder before it gets easier.
Action: Explore north of The First Tree (Capitol)
Hunting expeditions continue, patrolling the edges of the forest while keeping a close watch upon the humans beyond. Things have proven peaceful thus far, but with the world suddenly becoming a very crowded place one cannot be too careful…
Action: Build road leading North East from The First Tree, create settlement, and improve the border between them.
…Still, the lamia race are quick to view outsiders as a potential revenue stream first and enemies second, thus while the hunters patrol the architects begin digging a new canal to the river at the edge of the wood, and another potential trade hub to make contact with the isolated settlement.

Explore and claim the mountain hex on the southeast. (0)
Settle down in the mountain hex, fund Altera Domini (3)
Build road to Altera Domini (1)
Raise Army on Glaciem Murum: The Ursa Legion (2)
The sun was up and the wind was somewhat cold, yet not as cold as back in their home. The orcs have been expanding pretty fast, reaching in jsut a few weeks a mountain fit to settle in.
A somewhat young orc, Marco, was guiding his herd of humans, all naked and collared yet they looked in good health conditions and cleanness. Orcs didn't won anything with cruel handling of their cattle, they just treated like the animals they were, and even lobotomizing the ones who fought too hard. Marco had a little herd, no bigger than ten humans and more than the half of them were male… well, as male as they could be after being treated with orc medicines. The only thing he could do with them was harvesting their cum and selling it as food condiments. As he travelled from Terra Titanas to that new land he was impressed in how fast the new colonists were working. Humans were tied against carriages, naked and made to pull, punished by the crop when they weren't working hard enouth and rewarded with strange orcish wines to make them recover their strenght. Any pride those humans had was forgotten long time ago.
The land was fertile, good enouth to do something orcs never did in the nort: agriculture. They even were next to the birth of a river, to drink clean pure water and use it for their baths. There were also some strange goats living there, a good source of meat as they couldn't hunt behemoths from the north, the main source of meat and bone on the empire. The only problem was going to be dealing with other empires as they kept expanding, not being naive enouth not to believe other races might be expanding like them, but of course, they were the only ones who deserve to be called people.
Regnum Vult!
((Silly question, but are those cities in the south even habitated? And what should I expect in them?))

>Finish the road to the volcano.
>Build up the border between the volcano settlement and the next one in line.
>Explore and settle the space in the juncture of of that L shape I've got going on.
Sorry for not posting shit all this week, brain dead.

>Action: Explore Hex North of Settlement (Forest area)
>Action: Develop Northern Border of Briarton Settlement
With more peasants taken to farm the fields, Sweetheart turns her insatiable hunger to the North. The forests there were less populated than the grasslands but held important construction materials for sustaining the Khanate. The wood products and furs available in abundance are necessary for Bun'ari life and can be found in the production of their yurts, their bows, and even their fuzzy clothes.
>Action: Move Army [The Red Horde] from Briarton northwest to the plains area
The Red Horde is on the move! Having secured the territory around Briarton, Muffin's getting anxious. She hasn't killed or stabbed anything in literally days! Sweetheart sends her out to secure the lands previously explored, to make sure to show the flag of the new Khanate and muscle those villages and towns into paying their share into what is effectively a nation-sized protection racket.
>Action: Raise Army [The White Horde] at Briarton
With the creation of the second horde, Sweetheart realized she didn't want to put all her proverbial eggs into one basket. The Red Horde was a fierce, if somewhat undisciplined, forced on the battlefield. No one could stop them on the plains of their homelands. But for matters dealing with harder terrain like mountains or crossing rivers, they needed a force of soldiers who could work as infantry as well as cavalry.
This Horde, known as the White Horde, is also marked with the white handprint on their bodies. They are expert riders, as all Bun'ari must be, but their focus during battle is to dismount and act as shield and spear-wielding troops. They form hard rocks on which other Hordes or armies can maneuver around, and can break hostile cavalry forces upon their speartips while keeping themselves safe from arrows. In a way, they represented a check on any of the other Bun'ari clans should they try to break away. The White Horde is effectively a counter to the traditional Bun'ari battle order of horse archery and surrounding the opponent.
The new Horde's leader was Vixen. Where Muffin the Unbloodied's aggression knew no bounds, Vixen was a much more lenient overlord for the prisoners she captured in her time as a warrior. She was, however, a completely debauched pervert. During idle times or in the cold of winter, she would grow obsessed with her cock and the product thereof, pounding slave after slave into blissful submission. Her and a few of her fellow Chosen, so enamoured with their male-ish organs, undertook a lewd, body transforming ritual to make their semen an addictive drug!
With the leadership cadre made of these…deviants, the name of this Horde took on a second meaning. Reports of prisoners and warriors in the horde alike being 'anointed' with the fluids from Vixen's acts of lust being taken as badges of honour and pride, if not slurped up and swallowed immediately after them being received. Vixen cares for her soldiers and her prisoners in her own way, and no one suffers undue harm. There is a good chance, however, that if you encounter the White Horde, you may end up 'honoured' by such affections yourself.
