Post interesting Doom mods here.
Here is a Doom mod being made that recreates the feel of Build engine games, down to the weapons, enemies, and movement handling. It's probably what Brootal Duum should've been if it hadn't gone down the path of feature bloat.

There's that one cool mod where you play as a dragon. At first I worried it was going to be scalie shit, but it's actually a cool mod.
Complete overkill, though. It was mostly made by the Russian Overkill guy, Realistically there are no maps or megawads hard enough to warrant the kind of firepower it gives you.

DooM Mod Loader (https://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-mod-loader) makes using mods with GZDooM (or other ports) MUCH less of a pain in the goddamn ass.
DooM One is interesting. I played through Knee Deep in the Dead last night, and it's pretty impressive.

It seamlessly streams from each level to the next, with some original areas to function as logical buffers, and uses switches instead of keycards to open doors.
