I do not have the technical know how but am well versed in managing communities and understanding the psychology of how to make a place work. I had someone reach out and ask me to help him make a new image board with me running it basically. He was going to spam online with bots and proxies to do so and proved he could do it by attacking 4chan kek butthen he started saying he wants to cum on my belly and stuff and I am not one for gay shit but I sort of wished I did have a part to play in a revial of imageboards in some sense.

The main attraction for an IB is now anonymity. You need a phone number to make a FB, google, and maybe a twitter account. Reddit uses the karma system, so you can't express unpopular opinions all the time.

Although message boards are falling out of fashion because of reddit, you need to create accounts which require signing up. Some don't even accept mail.com emails anymore, and other email services require cell phone verification, which prevents you from making alts freely.

I wonder about onion IBs. They would also require a server and have an operating cost. But the clearnet is becoming less free everyday. They are going after lolicon now and some people don't like that.

There was talk about a P2P IB system in a thread, maybe under /tech/. I don't know how that would work. I only used P2P for torrenting. If it's not user-friendly, then not a lot of people will use it.

Say you have artistic talent. Society may not care, but certain art communities would praise you for it. So you'd be more likely to "buy" their praise since it comes at virtually no cost (since you already have talent).

A non-normie with artistic talent would be more likely to draw what they think is worthwhile, but maintaining motivation like this is difficult. Which makes it all the more impressive if they do succeed. And when they do, they are better than normies, because they are more creative thanks to not relying on other people.

Unsuccessful normies are almost never impressive unlike unsuccessful non-normies, and successful non-normies are legendary and precious influences on society that make lasting differences.

I do look down on normies, even though I'm a NEET. I see the fragility of their society-fueled motivations and self-esteems. I see how contaminated their souls are with society's "morality". They will do bad things unquestioningly if told by an authority, just like the normies under Hitler and many other dictators.

Yet, they have such strong reservations about killing based on their own ideas and judgements. They are not "good people". They will buy the ability to see themselves as good by donating to charity.
