Adults only care about four things:

1. Money (finance/economics)

2. Sex (love/lust)

3. Politics (religion/philosophy/history)

4. Hobbies (old school pop culture)

Prove me wrong.

*Protip: You can't*

Has anyone ever noticed that most "serious" non-fixtion books (as in marketed to age 35+) mostly deal with abstractions. There are no physcial science books or media marketed to boomers at all. If they do, they mostly deal with making aesthetic products.

Adults are in general very sentimental beings. We assume "adult = logical", but it seems the average adult cares more about personal utopia than the present physical reality.

Almost every homepage blog starts put with some profound quote by some historical figure or fictional character. Alot of personal blogs always use basic philosphy to talk about life eventa such as death or marriage.

Or how every political reform has to require some moving speech using metaphors and abstract objects to get people to get shit done. Nobody cares about natural determinism working in their favor.

The only "profound" art usually deals with abstract and metaphorical objects. Nothing physical.

The only work I have seen that balances physical science and philosophy was Cosmos (1980 book and PBS TV show by Carl Sagan).

I cannot run out of times of how easily enraged boomers get at youngsters for having different social customs than them.

Like how my mom gets mad at me and my brothers for being solitary creatures, claiming we're selfish and apathetic, we shouldn't have had individual bedrooms because it encouraged "entitlement". She's woefully ignorant of the family feuds that come about from lack of personal space, but she's too needy for social interaction and she's a real hen, so it's like dealing with a childish diva.

Or how xennials on here wish zoomers to burn in hell for not knowing pre-2007 music.

>We assume "adult = logical

Its what little kids think. Part of growing up is realizing that adults are just kids that don't jump around and scream constantly. I thought about this and concluded that its simply our nature. No matter how much tech we develop, at heart we're nothing but monkeys. There's good chunk of monkey- and other mammal experiments that reveal how much animal we actually are (although usually its framed about how "human" animals are)

>3. Politics (religion/philosophy/history)

Wouldn't say people care about politics, at least not on an objective level. People seem to only seek validation of their world view there and parties actively encourage tribalism. Just look at how all that Left vs Right faggotry intensified in recent years, not just the USA but also large parts of europe. Its not about making life for people easier, but to throw shit at those who think different. visit any of their safespaces /pol/ reddit tumblr and whatever else. its all just butthurt and half truths. That's not caring about politics

>That's not caring about politics

No, it's making themselves a fashion statement and an identity, a tool for 'em to fuck and have a social life. It's no different than the guy who totally goes to see a chick flick with his girlfriend because he thinks it'll get him some pussy after.

I love my children more than any of those things though I need all of them to help my children.

Especially with the whole "zoomers are the problem" sentiment.

It seems everyone likes to blame everyone younger than them for things that happened long before said youths were in diapers.

Adults nowadays are just eternal older siblings.
