I have been into animeme and memenga since 1999 and this is the first year I went to any conventions at all. First time in March. I thought this would be an experience to mark off my bucket list. It is like my canadian friend on steam described. It is a giantic basaar with overprices items to buy and people in funny costumes. But the artists booths are really the highlight. You always find something special or unique and spending some dollars on a handcrafted item feels much better than some machine made merchandise.

All in all I think it is worth it to at least go as a tourist once.
