I had been sitting with sad thoughts for hours. I went to see a movie, not to be entertained, but because the dark cool theater and the stories of movie stars and models enables me to sit disconnected in the dark away from my life as if I had ceased to exist. Somewhere along in the show I began to become aware of my existence again so I left.
I went out and saw an injured bird trying to fly on the ledge at the crowded mall. I took a seat and stared at the bird for forty minutes. I was thinking how similar we are as it struggled to leave. Then it jumped backwards, I thought for a second it was just acting spastic, but then it jumped again while flapping its wings, and then finally it flew.

I remember that scene from Fullmetal alchemist.
There was s bird that died. Then the alchemist cured it with his magical powers, the bird flew away like OP described
The people who were watching were mesmerized
and then we see the next scene the bird dropping to ground again like a stone. His newfound life was only short …
but of course the normalfags did not notice this. they only wanted to see new jeesuz healing the bird. not how it fell again, that interested nobody

Sorry in advance, OP, and the rest, I'm not trying to bring everything down, I'm really just looking for help. Or hope. I don't see how things can just hold together and go on as usual for another 25 years, let alone 50 years. The entire welfare state and its pension funds are going to run out of money soon, and then what? Violent mobs of underpeople are going to come for us to take whatever we have, the government will freeze all of your assets and close down any airports before we can run away. And where do we even run to? There are a handful of pretty safe places in Europe, like Switzerland (coincidental OP pic related), but I don't think they'd be welcoming to outsiders by then, not that I blame them.
Am I really going to have to fight for my survival? I really never wanted it to be like this. I have so many family members to take care of, I have in-laws in Europe, there's no way I'll make it through this without losing something important. The only thing I can think of doing is finishing school, making as much money as possible for ten or 15 years, and hope I make it. Realistically, the mobs aren't able to producing anything, and will starve themselves out in a matter of years like the Venezuelans. But it's going to be a long matter of years until then. I guess this is what I get, for wishing for a stateless society all these years: a stateless society under siege by statist goons.
I just want to know I won't die. But nobody can really, honestly tell me that, even my girlfriend doesn't give me hope anymore.

Imagine if next month would big rock hit the Earth. I bet you would cope with death better in that case. What's the difference then? Notion of death is not an anchor (unless you love to torture yourself with philosophy), it's a freedom. We will all die. You can do your best, and sometimes your best is not good enough but that's just fine. It's how it is, some things can not be changed.

A space rock os random and amoral, a power hungry cabal of violent mobsters is immoral. Immoral things inhibit freedom, and all good people want to be free. So excuse me for taking offence and being upset by the way they've made things. Don't tell me about it being the same, you know it isn't the same,

God doesn't care about the personal wellbeing of each human. He only carea about being worshipped. Thats why He threw Lucifer into the Garden to tempt Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit so that the devil can habe full control of the eartg forcing mankind to rely on God for salvation. He set us all up. Hes the ultimate narcissistic Aspergers manchild.

Are you saying your soul is pure enough to enter the Kingdom of God without any cleansing whatsoever? I guess I can see how someone who thinks he is a God would be jealous/frustrated by a real one.
Is there not an atheism board you can circlejerk on? You've never made an attempt to study theology and only shit talk strawman interpretations of religion among like minded individuals. Why act so ballsy when you're just congratulating each other for putting down opponents who aren't even there?
Everyone has an axe to grind, fine. But you know that Christians don't actually believe any of the things you've described. Quit inventing characters and ideologies to get mad at.

Most Christians don't really understand the God they worship because most don't read their Bibles nor research Biblical history. Also, Christianity came from Judaism. The Bible has forty plus authors and has books spanning the centuries translated from Hebrew to Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English. Who's to say that the Holy Bible we have really is the real deal? I think theres more to Jehovah's personal hostory that the Hebrew scholars from BC times kept to themselves because of "God's chosen peoplez and sheeit."
Jehovah is just an underhanded Aspie psycho.

Whether most Christians understand the theology is another matter entirely, I am simply pointing out that nobody actually, truly believes God is narcissist who wants to be worshiped and who tempted us to sin so we would be indebted to him. It's stupid to suggest this is the case and that people still follow it "because they're dumb" or something like that.
>Christianity came from Judaism
The old testament, yes, but the new testament and teachings of Christ are very close to the Vedic tradition in innumerable. The Indo-European link is inextricable, even the most profound Western thinkers like Jung were heavily inspired by Eastern spirituality. I think you should pay just as much attention to the differences as the similarities.

You shouldn't take everything on the internet that much seriously. I mean I'm not blatantly trolling nor you have it easy because you can't see smirk on my face or recognize half-ironic tone if those words would be spoken by me (because it's written text) but I'm just saying you don't have to put effort into replying seriously on what I wrote (>>18103). I like the issue of God in Christian literal or in "broader" meaning and I take it very seriously as philosophical problem even though I'm not christian; and I struggle with this figure for long years, basically since I was 12 which is very long time. Please don't be so quick in your assumptions. I know you people have tendency to protect your beliefs very harshly and it's fine by me, just don't expect from bunch of broken assholes to turn into your god and kiss his nuts for what he created. It's nothing to be proud of imho.
When it comes to this:
>I am simply pointing out that nobody actually, truly believes God is narcissist who wants to be worshiped and who tempted us to sin so we would be indebted to him.
Why wouldn't anyone believe that? I mean, it's pretty great justification of God's incompetence and narcissism, similar as book of Job. I would expect from die hard Christian to appreciate any justification of God.
When it comes to Jesus Christ himself, didn't he precisely understood the painful misery of human existence, as if the human life is too much to bear even for a God himself?
>“Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer, and by night, but I find no rest. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
It's really disgraceful that something that would somebody as Zizek say about God makes much more sense than anything regular Christian says. After all those years I do not understand why I even bother with this figure, this contradictory paradox which influenced philosophy and I have every right to criticize this because by your word - I am his creation and I live in his creation and I have very hard time dealing with it.
Basically tl;dr of this post is that I'm bitter asshole who is telling you politely to go fuck yourself for telling me to go to some atheist board but since this board is not ideological or religious/antireligious hugbox I must read what you have to say no matter how pointless that is in my life.
