There's a palace that is said to have very occult crystal caves below it with the entrance hidden somewhere. I think they let you speak to the dead or are said to be relevant to alchemy as the palace above belonged to a guy that was renowned as an alchemist. Will have to read up on that one again, but it was by far the most interesting local occult legend for me.

It's not as bad as >>16507 makes it seem. Once you get used to it, it's pretty comfy, aside from the foreign hordes of course. Expel the foreigners, reinstate the Emperor.
Can be avoided for the most part by sticking to the wealthier districts in the middle of town though. There's also better coffee houses there, and the waiters are much more passive-aggressively arrogant too its a sign of quality, if they aren't then their employers haven't trained them properly

Only in Vienna do we ask for seconds after being ridiculed and mocked for drinking at noon by a waiter who is in 8/10 cases an alcoholic himself. Fair enough but I doubt that "highest living quality in the world" can just be jewed into existence actually nevermind, everything can be jewed into existence. Also compared to almost any other city over 1mil, Vienna is definitely much cleaner and safer. Ever been to Paris, or Berlin, or Italy, or anywhere in the east? Budapest is nice but it's been Habsburg for centuries so yeah. Switzerland might be cleaner but they're even more jewish so who knows what's reality over there.
