Do normal people fantasize about shooting up their workplace even if they know its not that bad or am I just legitimately psychotic? I don't want to lose my rights.

I have no idea if this is what they do but I thought of my workplace like a jail every single day
I went there to sit out my term and go home
eventually the shitshow became too much to shoulder so I quit

of course, in times of process optimization and business process evaluations you have to squeeze all the juice you can out of your wagecucks

normal in 2019 is impossible to define. if you are truly normal, then you are currently targeted by the state for holding non-PC views.
if you are "normal" than you love GRIDS and want more of it. you would want to become GRIDS and spread GRIDS, you wouldnt want to go on a shooting spree, because chances are you would be attacking GRIDS, because we are surrounded by GRIDS. you would instead spend your time admiring the progenitors of GRIDS and pushing their agendas, which means you would spend your lunchtime praising furries, pedos, islam, rape hoaxes, trannies, jews, mass immigration etc. normal in 2019 is Chris-chan

Nah, it's totally normal and you would be surprised how many "normal" people have those fantasies whether it's in school or workplace. You are locked between 4 walls in place where you suffer, of course you will have these fantasies, just try to not tell about them to your co-workers, especially not the HR dept and meanwhile look for another job, preferably as >>13941 said, try to open your own small business if you have ways to do so. Corporate workplaces are not natural environments for human so no wonder your brain goes "derp, flee or fight bro". Also I might advice you to take some activity, maybe even if its work out a bit, it's great to take away the temporary frustration. Just don't forget about how this world is, these corporations destroying sanity and environment are on my payback list.

The thing that bothers me is just how much proof there is that people are generally more productive when given more time off, more rights, more comforts, and yet the silicon valley overlords are totally suckered into this Boomer mentality of looking busy = being busy, and adhering to this fucking artificial 40 hour workweek that is an invention of the industrial era.
Fucking work-addicts, I swear.

It's not about making you more productive, it's to keep you under control. Dealing with retarded coworkers and doing nothing makes you more spiritually tired than doing work. Take the /tech/ pill and solder together chips from the 70s to run CP/M because that's the last non-backdoored option left to you, and that's probably just because it doesn't have enough juice to run a network stack. I completely agree. Urbanites are literally a stain on this planet. No matter where they live, as long as it is in a city they will invariably be pompous subhuman degenerate garbage. I don't know what causes it, maybe it's population density (think Calhoun's rat experiments) or what, but all I know is that we need a Year Zero in America and a reagrianization

There's definitely enough land to spread things back out to the small town model and the amount of jobs that don't even require resources these days could most certainly fit that model. Hell, North America could become a veritable eco-utopia while remaining a superpower on the world-stage provided the correct policy line was adhered to: mainly an annexation of Canada and a systematic depopulation of the United States by some 85,000,000 people and Canada by about 7,000,000 people minimum. This would constitute almost the entire non-European surplus population of North America and it would be absolutely necessary from a racial and healthier land:population ratio perspective. I’m not sure how you’d realistically remove that many people – it’s logistically illogical whether you kill them, dump them in the Mexican desert. Controlled removal by area followed by antinatalist racially-targeted laws and restrictions on birth would be the most realistic scenario. It pains me that I will likely never see anything like it or the type of de-urbanization that we want.

I’m highly considering going off the grid within the next five to ten years. In my perfect reality I’d do it with a wife and have five or six kids in a low-tech, basically disconnected and isolated environment. We wouldn’t be totally self-sufficient, but it would be a better life, one I desperately long for. Unfortunately though, I will likely end up doing it alone. Most of my life has been alone though so I will manage. I think it would be extremely hard if not impossible to find a woman that 1) would put up with my far-right political views (just look at my post here >>14128), 2) that would want to give up most of the “convenient” aspects of modernity and 3) that would wanted to be impregnated and have to give birth half a dozen times.

I think I’m Nazbol but I’m not sure how closely I identify with the Bolshevik portion of the word. I’m definitely Marxist-influenced in relation to class (seeing it alongside a more fundamental racial-struggle), but I break heavily when it comes to democracy, equality and anti-imperialism. I think the economy should function for the people in supplying their needs and not against the nation in pursuit of profit and I recognize the all-important position of the workers but this has to fit into a framework for me of discipline and authority for it to function effectively, much like with the state. With equality, it is treating unequal things unequally and with anti-anti-imperialism it is due to my social-Darwinism where the only law is the survival of the fittest and the power of force and violence. I think communism as described as a stateless and moneyless society is a complete utopia but think we should work towards a society less focused on profit, more on needs and well-being, sustainability and autarky for the essentials. This is incompatible with capitalism as it is today, but I don’t know if I’m Nazbol in the traditional sense, it’s more like a eclectic mess of social Darwinism, National Socialism, Strasserism, Ted Kaczynski and Pol Pot thrown in a blender. It sounds like a mess but the best aspects of each synthesize well in my head as my personal beliefs.
Where are you from by the way, Nazbol anon? I feel for you if you live in some urban hell. I’m from OH, at least there are rural areas around here. I envy the Amish sometimes

I agree with your sentiment. I've long considered doing this. However, isn't the whole concept of the 'small business' basically coming to an end in the age of Amazon/Bezos? I mean, on top of the fact that most small businesses fail (something around 70-90% of small business fail after 2 years last I checked), it would just seem insane to try to start a small business in this environment, especially given the rapidity of economic decline in small communities (capital flight has literally happened under capitalism the way that neo-conservatives warned it'd happen under gommunism). I feel as if everything's a big fucking joke.

It's not that hard to see that megacorps have the resources to comply with bullsit government regulations, but small businesses don't, and so they struggle, allowing the rich companies to get richer and the smaller companies to go out of business and wagecuck for the bigger companies. Neocons call this capitalism, and tell you shut the fuck up, but it's not and they are worse than commies.
For example, if some politician announced a minimum wage of $10 000 for every employee, the retarded, gullible commies would get happy, but in reality it will force small businesses to close, and only megacorps would be able to pay that insane amount of money, essentially taking over the market. Then neocons would start yapping about how that's capitalism too, when their fucking government interfered with market processes.

That's why I said to bring value. There are things megacorps don't offer, like the warm feeling you get when you buy a five thousand dollar handcrafted dinner table that looks amazing.
Alternatively, things that require trust can be good too. All the non-immigrant handymen here make bank because old people don't want to let a band of turks or polacks into their houses.

There is actually another case that is good for small companies
Big Megacorps are powerful but very slow. They first have 10 gajillion officers to approve something before it gets done. Small companies are nimble and get things done flexible and quick. Just like the customers want it.
My former boss told me as long as there is mega corps and govt, there will always be small companies because they are the only ones who can deliver customers exactly what they want (tailored solutions in short time)

Gotta agree with you here. A small business is about as nimble as a business can get, because it's not large enough to need to become rigid and inflexible. It's less like a corporation and more like a group of people cooperating to accomplish more together than they could individually (which in all honesty is much closer to the original meaning of the word "company" than any modern companies you might care to mention). When a company is small enough that the guy on the ground floor who deals with the customers face-to-face knows the CEO on a first name basis and sees him every day, filling an unmet need in the market is as simple as saying "hey, a customer asked about X - how about it?". Megacorps can take advantage of economies of scale (which is a massive advantage for them), but that's just about the only good thing that their size brings them. In exchange, they take months or years to react to a change in the market, and it's delayed at every step of the way by over-ambitious desk-jockeys who are more interested in playing office politics than in actually doing their jobs.

That's true
However, the corporations usually win in the end:
>be small company
>have innovative solution that everyone wants
>lots of customers
>can actually give them what they want
>Megacorp still sitting on the sidelines with their competitor solution because internal bureacracy and office politics
>One day, sales representative knocks on door
<"Hello, I am from Megacorp. Ltd. and we want to buy your company for a sum of USD 35M. Come on buddy, take this cash and go to Bahamas and fuck young bitches all day long and leave us your market share so we can milk those gullible sheep for more cash"
>ah fuck this work shit man, Bahamas, here I come
>Megacorp takes over company
>applies all its bureacracy onto the corp
>best people leave because dissatsfied
>milk customers for current solution
>but have no new solution because best people left and bureacracy slows innovation
