I mean, I have long hair.
Ironically it's a bit of effort I guess. But I secretly never cut the ends so it stops by itself eventually. I guess I always sort of liked it better longer, but started going with it around the time emo was a thing… but I was too self-conscious for that, so I just let it keep growing instead of styling it up all faggoty-like. A funny note - I liked some metal at the beginning but really only got heavy into it after my hair had been long for a while, same with drugs. But it matches these things well, now.

I only cut my hair like once a year, when I visit my mother and she pisses me off to do it. But it don't get too long anyways, for some reason it stops growing when it reaches my shoulder. I heard I need to cut the tips and do a proper treatment for it to get there.

I have long hair now. I went through most of this decade with short to medium length but over the last year and a half I have been growing it out. It looked horrible for about 6-8 months and I went through many phases where I wanted to cut it but I knew it would get to the point its at now. If you shampoo + conditon and shower correctly then its not too bad. I don't even have to comb it.

Buy a single haircutter for 50 bucks and you will no longer have to leave the house to cut your hair, nor pay for it. Only takes about a minute to cut my hair.
A word of advice though, only keep the spacer for the length you actually use around, because the spacer one size smaller looks pretty much the same right until you look practically bald.
