/cyoa/ - Choose Your Own Adventure

This is probably the most complex CYOA I've ever attempted (took me like four hours!), but I really like it. I've tried to turn myself into a little boy in pretty much every CYOA on this site where it's possible, and now I find one where it's encouraged! Because this begs more of a story than simpler CYOAs, I decided to write one up for everyone's entertainment.

I'll actually be doing this thing twice; for my first build, I will be becoming essentially exactly the same as I was as a child, except of course with a more exciting life.

One bright and sunny day, I walk down to the local clinic. It's cost pretty much all of my savings to pay for an experimental Youth Serum, but I feel it's worth it. I've heard rumors that the effects are permanent, but I don't care. I'm a 35 year old man, estranged from my family, have no real love for the world, and am eager to begin something akin to anew life.

After the treatment is over, the now much smaller me is shown to a private room with a full-size mirror and a plastic-sealed package of clothing sized for a child. I toss aside my ill-fitting adult's clothes and admire my new body. It's amazing; I look exactly like I used to! In the reflection is a pale, average-sized but scrawny 10-year-old boy with ruddy brown hair and eyes so dark brown they're almost black.

While I am now just as weak and wimpy as I used to be, my mind was totally unaffected and I feel only slightly more immature. My face is attractively boyish, my chest flat of course, my butt cute and petite, and my genitals small and undeveloped. I can still get erections as can any boy of any age, but there's no way I'm fertile like an adult anymore, which is fine because dry orgasms are better. Considering I've gone this long without already thinking about getting lewd with other boys, it seems my sex drive is pretty flat. Oh well, I've always preferred cuddling. As a child, I was a fast learner but had minor autism, and I expect that to be the same again.

Suddenly, there is a loud pounding on the door, and I quickly put on the child-sized clothing, which is an ordinary boyish t-shirt, shorts, and shoes. No sooner than this is done, the door bursts open and in march a group of men wearing all black suits, with earwigs, and carrying guns. Oh fuck. I am escorted roughly out the back entrance and into a waiting car; the body of a man who is physically similar to how I used to be is then carried inside. As we drive away, the clinic goes up in flames, and then my "briefing" begins. I am told that my old life is over, that the world thinks I am now dead in an unfortunate accident, and that I have a choice to make. I can either be tossed out the car and try to survive as an orphan child with no identity, or I can join their organization. I am told that I have potential, that they've been following me for a long time, and that a child with the intelligence of an adult will grant me a great advantage in this line of work. Of course, I accept the latter option, and an envelope of classified information is handed over…

My new life began the next morning. It wasn't really what I was expecting, being a child that is treated like a child by most people, but as an adult while doing "undercover" work with The Agency. I won't be specific, but it involves a lot more of the sneaky sort of spy work than the dangerous, murdering-people type. You'd be surprised how much information a mark will leak when they suspect only a young boy is listening! So, I suppose I should begin by telling you about the family that I was assigned to. I have two fathers who are married (and they do love each other, though it seems more platonic as both are almost asexual): a prototypical Secret Agent who does the dirty work for The Agency, and the "Professor", who builds various gadgets and things; think James Bond and Q living under one roof, except both gay and chaste. Funny. We also have a robotic maid that does some of the chores and is almost a better cook than I am.

Since I am involved in a lot of covert things, and still autistic, I don't make friends easily. I have a couple of acquaintances: a Bookworm and a Nerd, and while we do get along in school, they're pretty casual relationships. Except, well… sometimes when I talk about writing with the Bookworm, I get the impression that he has a crush on me. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I am not sure exactly how to pursue this relationship (if at all) because he's still just a kid, though. We'll see. Oh! Speaking of, I almost forgot to tell you about my "little brother". He's a total extrovert and a Class Clown, but despite being two years younger than I am, he is unbelievably perverted. I suspect he might have been another adult like me (except that somehow kept his libido) but The Agency isn't admitting this. He is very childlike, and since he doesn't suspect that our fathers and I are involved in shady, borderline-legal affairs, I suppose he didn't get to keep his intellect as I did. He's adorable, feisty, and whenever we are together, well… lewd stuff… happens. Dry orgasms means multiple orgasms; did you know this? Do you need to know this…?? Anyway, we also own a large dog. He frequently gets "lost", and tracking him down and bringing him home is always my responsibility, as some kind of training for my job.

Together, the four of us live in an average 3-bedroom apartment with average furnishings, on the edge of the city. The bathroom is basic but sufficient. Since our fathers insist on sleeping apart in their own separate bedrooms, it leaves the master bedroom for me and my little brother. We share the bed and do lots of cuddling when he's too tired to molest me anymore. There's also an attached separate space that we use for a general hobby/recreation room, and the entire house is connected to some kind of network that lets you control basically everything with voice commands; you can turn on or off lights, put on a pot of coffee to brew, or even have all the computers erase their harddrives. We have upstairs neighbors that are sometimes noisy, but never nosy (which is probably for the best if they want to stay alive). Downstairs is nothing but dirt, or so you would believe… in reality, well, there's an entire goddamn Secret Base under there! It's where The Agency is headquartered, while the apartment above lets us go about our normal lives without attracting too much attention. Crazy stuff.

But other than that, my life at least appears fairly normal. I go to an ordinary public school where I know more than the teachers and always feel bored with the lessons… but that's the no different from how it was before. Being a "gifted" child sucks a lot less the second time around, especially because my fathers pulled some strings that lets me take an after-school class where I can learn even the most obscure things. If I want to be taught subject matter more appropriate for a college graduate than a fourth-grader, the teacher won't bat an eye.

Around the house, we're an ordinary family, really. I wear modest clothing, and we eat regular home-cooked meals. …okay, considering it's usually me and the robot maid making the dinners, I suppose that isn't normal! Oh, and the foods we eat can sometimes be classified as "experimental"; one of my parents is always concocting bizarre things anyway, and the other has traveled the world and so has a cosmopolitan palate. I don't mind this much(though strong flavors can prove difficult for my childlike taste buds) but my little brother does. He plays with his food more than he eats it, anyway, at least when he's not trying to grab at me under the table. Ugh! How is he so lewd??

I still try to keep up with the same hobbies I had as an adult. Lots of reading and writing with trips to the library (except I can't drive myself anymore!), and lots of playing games on the computer and surfing the internet on a decent computer; because my little brother is so playful, we do a lot of arts and crafts, too. With help from my father the Professor, I've also become so adept with electronics that I'm practically a technomage, and we have access to the best medicines in the world, so I'm never sick. All in all, though, it's pretty typical stuff, enough that most people ignore the fact that I'm not your average kid. If they don't ignore it… well, these people tend to disappear to either Siberia or the Afterlife.

But it's not all sunshine and rainbows for me. To maintain the proper illusion of my being a child, my parents occasionally have to maintain discipline and sometimes even punish me. As if I could do anything about it! Having a normal bedtime for a 10-year-old isn't too bad, and I'd probably want to do some chores around the house even if they didn't force me to do so. Worse is when they wash my mouth out with soap (and having an adult mind means I used to swear a lot!) or take away my stuff should I misbehave. I can entertain myself, but it's still a pain. The worst thing of all is when they lecture me or scold me in public! It sucks! They don't even do the same to my little brother, and I don't know why… wait a second, being embarrassed in public would probably turn him on. Heh.

Well, that about wraps things up. I think my little brother is probably running around without any clothes on again, so I should go take care of that. Before I leave, though, check out this shiny toy I have! Yeah, it kinda just looks like a fat silver pen, but if you look really close at the top there…

That asshole merchant fast-talked me into taking a "free sample" of one of his potions. Only my body was affected, and my mind was left mostly intact… which is a small comfort when you wake up to find yourself in the body of a young girl. Of course, the merchant's long gone; turns out, he stole most of his wares from a nearby witches' coven, and skipped town before they could catch him. However, the coven did learn of my plight, and have agreed to take me in until the process can be reversed (however long that'll take… a year at least, or so they tell me).

It's a pleasant little suburb, actually. One of those "behind that back alley that wasn't there yesterday" sort of deals. There's a community center, a magic school, a pool, a hot spring, and some other amenities. I live in a housing complex in the middle of town: one of the resident witches was immediately smitten with me, and decided to adopt me for the duration of my stay here. I can spend time with some of the other girls living in the complex, and "Momma" has brought me some creature comforts from my adult life, so I can keep myself busy.

There are some… caveats. Momma has made it very clear that I am her cute little daughter, and will be treated as such. The clothing is the most obvious aspect; it's all frilly dresses and schoolgirl outfits and stockings and bloomers and what have you. She also expects me to act the part when we're out in public. If I do screw up and fail to "act my age", most people won't notice, nor would they believe me anyway (though Momma will probably notice, and scold me about it).

To keep up appearances, I also have to attend school… which is a little awkward, since I have no magic powers to speak of. As a result, it's little more than daycare, but there's enough to do to occupy my time.

Momma (and our neighbor, who babysits me every so often) can be rather strict, at times. They choose all my clothes for me, and they don't even let me bathe myself. I have to wear diapers at night (not fair! I only wet my bed, like, twice…), and Momma will occasionally treat me like a baby during the day as well, depending on her mood. If I get into any trouble, spankings and corner time are likely to follow. One time, the babysitter even washed my mouth out with soap for cursing in front of her! I mean, sheesh.

It seems the other mothers in the complex have similar views on discipline. You'd be surprised how many playdates have been interrupted by another girl being taken aside and spanked or babied or whatever. It is, I admit, rather amusing to watch it happen to someone else… though there's always the risk of hearing
