There's no where else I can put them on blast, so St Philips Christian College Newcastle is a fucking cesspool of a school. It's run by self righteous religious cunts who embody "do as I say, not as I do". In the fucking decade I was there, it transformed from a somewhat conservative school with a focus on religion, to Hillsong with a school attached.
They have a sub school for "young mums" which is there way of getting pregnant girls out of the main system to not fuck up their image. Sex ed is practically non existent apart from an hour session in sixth grade where you're told fucking equals eternal hellfire. Then they're surprised when students get pregnant, and they sweep it under the rug to hide the shame.
It's the most sycophantic institution, with anyone begging for a payrise sucking the balls of the religious twats that run the place. The current head of Senior School is a spesh ed teacher who bootlicked and prayed her way up to a higher pay bracket. Her husband, a carpenter with no formal teaching education, has wrangled a job teaching christian studies and more to middle school students. During the time of the marriage plebiscite in australia, he compared homosexuality to pedophilia and beastiality, and received no reprimand from the executives. The staff were simply warned to "not share their opinions".
This school currently has six employed chaplains, and at least half of them have no training in chaplaincy. While it's a useless fucking degree from bible college, it still smacks of the complacent fucking nature of this school. It's made up of former students who represented the college's squeaky clean yet "still cool" attitudes who after entering the real world realised that they couldn't just schmooze their way to a job, and returned to St Philips for an easy paycheck for preaching once a week. Speaking of, this school had no guidance counsellor. No support for students. Instead, they offer up the chaplains, a bunch of 20-30 year olds with their heads up their asses.
