So I watched Jim's newest Internet Insanity video and I still don't understand the deal with Druid Focket.

So she's a mentally ill single mother attending college who becomes obsessed with her professor and gets expelled from the school/banned from campus because she accidentally sent an email to the entire campus that was in truth, meant only for another college professor, who she was convinced was her rival for the professor's heart and threatened to harm said rival?

After getting expelled/banned from the property, she attacks a cab driver and cop while acting so utterly and completely insane that they had no choice but to put her in a mental institute.

Her kids get taken away from her and disown her and she goes crazy and ends up escaping from the crazy house, making Youtube videos threatening while on the run from the police, threatening everyone and acting like a mentally retarded psychopath before they catch her?

Am I missing anything?

I know many people here think the mentally ill are great lolcows but I've never found it that way personally. Most of the time, the actions they engage in are more dangerous and crazy than they are funny and the way I see it, they can't help what they're doing. At least with someone whose brain is functioning normally, when they destroy their life it's because of their own volition and usually entails something hilarious about who they are.

I kind of agree.

There's a difference between getting electrocuted because you got struck by lightning, and getting electrocuted because you stuck a fork in an outlet, if that makes sense.

She didn't escape. She was released from the mental hospital because they could no longer hold her. She was only out for a week or so later before getting sent back, documenting much of it on YouTube.
