I was feeling a little down last night and was watching some comedy videos to cheer me up. I decided to try to watch a TIHYDP because some of them are really funny, the Crash Bandicoot and Metal Gear Solid ones especially. I chose Mass Effect 2 and boy was that a mistake. Two things come to mind.

Phil has completely changed since 2010. Back then he was annoying as fuck but he seemed like he actually had fun playing games. I will say that it's much more entertaining watching the current miserable Phil fail at games and hate his life though. It's like all of his life force has been drained and he's nothing but a husk.

2ndly, it made me realize that 80% of the TIHYDP makers are annoying A-Logs who legitimately hate Phil because he isn't up to their level of autistic operator in a video game.

Granted not being up to some a-log's standards in a video game is how all TIHYDP videos started. Even the Metal Gear ones. They're designed to get back at Phil because he's not as good as them. The difference is that they never would have taken off if Phil could laugh at himself.
