Are you fucking autistic? The show is pozzed, yes, it' shittily animated and voice acted, and the female characters are modern day, flawless, mary sue tier pieces of shit. Why the fuck would anyone continue to watch it? It's not because it'll magically poz you if you watch it, it's just a terrible show not even worth hate-watching.

Not sure how you can call this pozzed when you've got Powerpuff Girls Reboot as a comparison. They're nowhere near the same level or quality. Tenant has grown on me as Scrooge. I was expecting a little more Scrooge and Donald interaction and am sad that there is a lack of it. Huey, Dewey and Louie still sound weird in places. Wish it had more direct adventures instead of fumbling into family drama but still enjoyable. Wish it was like the original style of the previous show but it works for what it is.

Minor nitpicks. I wish they had not blew their Magica De Spell daughter turning to good in the next episode. Kind of wasted her turning point to just plainly say she's good now so no real tension or arc for her in future episodes. That millennial entrepreneur Beaks, accurate to the caricature of such people, was really annoying. It served its purpose in the episode but I don't think I can take anymore of him. One of the better cartoons out at the moment.

But she's not good. In episode 5, it's revealed that she was just acting good to avoid Ms. Beakley's, and by extension, everyone else's suspicion. If she was fully good, she wouldn't still be helping Magica in the first place.

Watched all of Gravity Falls. Mabel is legit the worst character. The problem with female characters in modern western cartoons is that writers are too afraid to give these girl/women characters genuine flaws. Worse, they give them 'flaws' that turn out to be strengths, robbing them of any actual depth or struggle to overcome, for example, Webby being a bit of a autistic sperg when she leaves the mansion in ep 2 to go with the triplets to the chucky cheese type place. This was when I said 'no thank you'. I would have kept watching if the art/animation were at least as good as the original show but it's shitty modern Toonboom crap, so 'no thanks' to that too

Modern writers don't know how to write female characters because they're too afraid to make female character with any more depth than a cardboard cut out.

Also, it pisses me off that female characters are more masculine than the male characters.

At least in the shittiest of animes, the writers remember to make their girls look and act like girls.

tldr; the west is in a death spiral, the end is nigh, comics and cartoons are but one of many symptoms.

How many Ducktales episodes did you watched? 30 from 100? She was far more useful then the new Webby. One of the good points in old Webby that she was the yin of the yang nephews this made the story processing more interesting in the old show. New Webby is more an annoying clone of the nephews.

I don't know what the point of Launchpad is in this show. He just spits out non-sequiturs and is far too unbelievable in how non-functional he is. Old Launchpad in comparison was more overly optimistic and childlike than he whatever he is now. And Old Launchpad didn't have Donald to compete with for screen-time as Scrooge's sidekick/foil.

I feel like they’re still figuring out when to use Donald, since things like his voice probably makes him difficult to write for.

Soos being how he is suited him since he was a mama's boy slacker character that the twins and Stan took a shining to. Launchpad in contrast is the personal pilot of the world's richest duck. Cheapskate he may be, but Scrooge shouldn't be one to hire someone so inept as New Launchpad to pilot him and his family around.
