On one hand it looks like nips are going to handle it, so it probably won't be that bad or full of the current year shit. However, that is not certain until it is confirmed that Sublimation will be 100% in charge of both animation and the story. Hiring a hack like Ennis to write the scrip is all it could take to ruin the project.
At the same time, Sublimation is not an established studio. That increases odds of project not turning out too well and studio not being able to resist Netflix's influence. Another point of worry is that most of their work was just 3D animation of certain scenes that was outsourced to them. As far as that goes, at least they do have some good or popular series in their portfolio, so Sublimation is not completely green and they at least had some experience working with competent creators.
They should stop fucking around and finally make a new Dragon's Dogma that is not an MMO. This time without behind the scenes fuckery and with a proper budget. First game made a good amount of money, Itsuno wants to make another one, so what's holding Capcom back?
