The problem with Kim was if she did have a flaw it would only last a single episode (Kim can't cook!, Kim has concern over a guy in a wheelchair!, Kim lied to her parents while wearing a stress activated battle armour!, Kim can't drive a car very well!), who then somehow have time to always be naturally perfect in every other form of academia (without showing the time sacrificed to do this like studying or practicing in those subjects). There's even some fucking episode which implies she runs multiple school groups which should mean she should have even less time for studying/relaxing/saving the world (then later that episode she accidentally gets a pair shoes that makes her super fast, allowing her time for all these previously never mentioned school groups)

The only other female characters I can think of is Kim's black friend Monique, Kim's young cousin Joss who was her biggest fan (at the end of that episode saw Ron as more inspirational since he has to overcome fear everytime fighting bad guys unlike Kim who "can do anything"). There's that Japanese ninja student Mori who worked with Ron on his mystical monkey power and only really existed to serve as counter crush to Kim.
For villains there's geneticist DNAmy, shapeshifting model Camille Leon from S4 and the one off TV action junkie Adrenna Lynn villain (who didn't return because she was unpopular with the creators or something)

I don't know where this come from but Kim had flaws and some sort of a well defined personality for a Disney show. She was over-competitive and perfectionist, also a little vain and sometimes childish and inmature, even when she tried to hide it.
She wasn't the best of the show, but overall she was not a bad character.

The lack of acrobatic movement is what hurt me the most. Literally just 2 seconds at the beginning and then some stumbling/standing around throughout the rest.
I think a good comparison is the fight in the cafe in both. In the animated OP it is a solid camera in one shot that shows off Kim's acrobatics and Shego's fighting style while also showing the demeanor of both. In spite of the character's moving all over the place it is still very clear and does what any good OP does, establishes character.
The live action shows her jumping into frame, then a cut, then she starts running, and there's another cut, then she runs like 5 feet and stops, then starts running again and that's the end of the scene. No acrobatics. The green flashes are Shego I assume, but we never actually see her. Everything is a mess. The effects with the green energy are distracting and break up the scene even more than the cuts already do. Kim's personality doesn't really show as she runs short distances, crouches, and looks around. We don't even see a second of Shego so there isn't even a chance to establish her.
I know why they did it. They have her stop moving to make it easier to get a clear shot of the actor. They cover the screen in effects and cut as she lands and starts running to hide the fact she's not actually that acrobatic and due to the fact that she can't make a scene that dynamic just by herself. Vid related.
I'm not asking for the actor to be as acrobatic as lines on a page, but at least something more than a short leap followed by crouching, running, stopping to crouch again, and running again.

It's about what you'd expect a live action cartoon would be. Reminds me of Ben 10's live action movie in tone. I think it's trying to go over the top like the cartoon because the hostage was overacting like his life depended on it. We get to see Patton Oswalt do evil german nazi accent. The cgi is about up-to-par to their regular live action tv shows so they didn't really put much into it. Only having seen 2-2.5 minutes it's already average to me. I might continue with it later because I have other stuff I'd rather watch right now.
