I'm thinking that without the cartoon anthro animals, this would be some run-of-the-mill edgy comic no one would give a second thought about. This is a really weird juxtaposition of things that feels like a knot in my stomach, and not in a good way. It's like a reverse Ren and Stimpy where everything is played straight and not for laughs, and it's freaking me out.
Part of me (which I keep telling to stay quiet) also keeps thinking that without the obviously insane stuff (anthros, pickaxes, etc), you'd have a solid story here. Make it less obvious that it's a fetish comic about furry violence by toning down the edge just a smidgen to bring it out of "autistic revenge fantasy" territory, add some good build-up to the most shocking moments while lessening the amount of rapes and murders, and draw more detailed gore, it's obviously the reason people read it and you'd have something half-way readable on your hands. The framework is there.
The only thing I'd change completely are the anthros and pickaxes, but god damn it, they're the beating heart of this story and I don't want to take that away from people.
