There were no atheists mentioned in the bible yet most Christians act like atheism is the biggest threat to Christianity(it's not). The biggest threat to Christianity is worldliness and there is an all-encompassing word for worldly people, pagans! All these supposed atheists are just pagans, people in bible times would call atheists pagans. Pagans are worldly people and worldly people are pagans meaning most supposed Christians are actually pagans.

Psalm 14:1 was not talking about atheists

Atheists simply say "There is not God", The passage was talking about people who say "There is no God" in their heart meaning they could very well say there is a God but through there deeds they live as if their is no God.

Psalms 14:1 - (To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.

Ephesians 4:18 - Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

It's not the biggest threat, but it's a common subculture, among many other edgy anti-christian subcultures.

atheists =/= paganism, paganism has it's own set of beliefs, which includes worshiping the gods.
