All conspiracy theories aside; why to this day there are still is this small ethno-religious group who claim to be the descendants of the Israelites? They have lived among and been persecuted by Christians and Moslems for centuries and all that would've simply ended if they just converted which some of them did but these two religions have pretty much wiped out every last small religious group in their lands but the Jews have stuck around.
