Is this about race mixing? I don't see what else it could be.

c28683  No.1400

>>1393

Yes, it's obviously against miscegenation

>Why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

A rhetorical question that implies "don't do that"

c25b6f  No.1406

>>1393

It's a warning against adultery.

You are to be seen and not heard. If you want an argument, grow up.

Ok, here I am reformed and grown. How do you conclude exegetically that proverbs 5 is unrelated to miscegenation?

11685a  No.1466

Considering that the majority of foreigners in Israel's day were pagans, the verses in the OT that forbid taking foreign wives/husbands are concerned about interfaith marriage, not interracial marriage.

1c11ad  No.1472

>>1466

You're attributing a reasoning, and you might be right, but how can you prove it? The immediate words are "strange" "others" "stranger" versus "thine own", and we know that "stranger" means alien, foreigner.

11685a  No.1476

>>1472

Because it was possible for foreigners to join the covenant and convert, making them technically members of the nation.

The main thrust in not marrying foreigners is that they haven't been grafted to the nation.

After all, Moses had a non-Hebrew wife, and Miriam was struck with leprosy for complaining about it.

You believe, in some stupid fanfic way, that Jesus actually believed that it was a sin if you married a woman with different skin than you …

You are literally retarded.

This is obviously against adultery, op. Only people obsessed with race would see it that way, and further more, you have ignored the other post that says the same thing. >>1406

Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

4803c7  No.1752

>>1482

No I am asking why would god even give the title of chosen to a people if they were gonna breed with other races.

>>1751

>>1477

Explain this then

Romans 9:6-9

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.

>Romans 9:6-9

Surely you're not implying this is about race? I'm as pro-white as the next guy but you all need to stop messing with scripture. Proverbs 5 and Romans 9 have nothing to do with race and it's irrational to think that they do

Arabs claim to be descendants of ishmael. The seed chosen is issac his brother. Meaning yes it definitely is talking about race.

c25b6f  No.1791

>>1789

smh. I shouldn't have to explain it when he literally spells it out for you. Isaac and Ishmael were both sons of Abraham, yet Isaac alone received the promise. Paul presents to us the question of why Isaac alone was counted as Abraham's seed, namely that he believed, when Ishmael was but a fleshly son, not partaking in his father's covenant. So it is not on the basis of flesh that one is Abraham's heir, but of the belief in the same promise now fulfilled in Christ, and they become members of the same covenant of grace as him. The passage is about how and why God covenants nations to Himself, which is why Paul continues

<And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls— she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

Literally right after the section you quoted. See also Galatians 3:16-29

Why did God allow Noah to live? (Because he was pure in his generations, i.e. he was racially pure).

What was the reason for God to cease the construction of the Tower of Babel, and make it so hard for humans to congregate in this manner ever again? (Because the Lord is against the mixing of races, and opposed to globalism, rather he would humanity remained distinct and whole).

How did Moses manage to free his people, as he was raised with an Egyptian cultural background, and without and Israeli faith? (With the knowledge of his Israeli kinship, his race, only by becoming aware of this could he ever have).

What does the word adulterate truly mean? (The definition you can look up yourself).

Why are we told the parable of the Good Samaritan? (The Samaritans were religious heretics, however by ancestry they were Israelites, thus Jesus teaches us that our racial connection is more important than our specific theological connection).

Why did Jesus himself said in Matthew 15:24: "I have come only to save the lost sheep of the House of Israel"? (He did not come to save sheep in other pastures or other flocks, because race was important to him, and faith and culture was not in the same way).

Obviously, in order to be a fully informed Christian, you have to have your faith as well. The Bible, however, is full of admonitions against race mixing, and denying this fact is dishonesty.

its about being faithful to your wife. Drink of your own waters is being satisfied and enjoying the fruit of your relationship. Basically dont be adulterous and dont lust after other women

becaf5  No.1941

>>1861

How do you explain this then.

Numbers 36:6

This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.

Romans 2:28-29 King James Version (KJV)

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Today Israel is anyone saved through faith
