So I'm from a nordic country and have quite a bit of nordic heritage.
And also heritage that goes back to wiking kings / rulers.
I also think it's an interesting period and time and like tthe art of the time.
So I'm thinking of getting a Thor hammer to have in a necklace.
In effect the god's of the wiking thing were the original king and his children of what people think are the indo europeans and the like.
But my religion is protestantism and I am deeply religious.
Do you think it's OK to get a thor hammer anyways.
In effect it's a celebration of my heritage, line, and culture not a religious statement.

Like in what way does a Nordic heritage and art have anything to do with jews or their culture or religion.
Also in what way is it anti christian to be interested in a specific regions heritage and art?
And why are you rude, maybe you are a jew?

I mean democracy was invented in Greece before it was christian a lot of math and literature and the olympics also.
We can still appreciate those things as Christians!

Why not.
I think the original WHITE israelites were part indo european and Italian also, so kinda similar in ethnicity to the nordics probably.
Then most of them mixed to some degree with middle easterners and quite often these days jews are a bit african (3 to 5 % apparently) although there might be a few jews that are 100 % white still but what do I know.
The original lineages of nordic kings coming from Odin were special, maybe even have a special relation to GOD like the original white Israelite kings did…

I think about 25 % of jews do not have any middle eastern genetics. But actually it is even more common that they are part african these days.
But yeah if you like to get it why not…

Calling someone Christian a jew makes no sense.
Also what has paganism got to do with pre Chrsitian art.
Are you not allowed to like Greek architecture or pythagoras or philisophy because you are a Christian?
That's just stupid.

We'll I'm related to the original nordic kings that were the god's of the period hence it's a celebration of my family.
I don't agree they were demons. it's just what was around before Christianity spread. And that wasn't possible until Jesu had been around and had updated GOD's religion and also until it had gained momentum.
Hence their original leaders of their ethnical group, who were special was the god's of the era. Being from the white race and the white race being GOD's choosen people it was the leaders of GOD's choosen people that were special just like the Israelite kings…

I don't think it's wrong to have a decoration that you like that has some significance to you, but it's also important to keep in perspective that your Earthly heritage means nothing compared to our heavenly Father.
And in some cases Anon would be right that false gods may be of demonic origin, but the gods of the Old Norse were merely exaggerated depictions of real men who lived and died.

You're already a pagan, may as well show it.
But in all seriousness. There is nothing wrong with celebrating your heritage. As long as you don't value your heritage more than your religion which it seems like you do not.
