With just a few words, he struck to the heart marian dogma and the christological dogma linked to it.

Marian dogma are the seal put on the catholic truths of out faith, defined in the councils of Nicaea, Ephesus and Chalcedon; they're the indestructible stalwart against christological heresies and the furious unchaining of the Gates of hell. Those who "crossbreed" and desecrate them shows to be on the Enemy's side. Attacking Mary is to assault Christ himself; attacking the Mother is to rebel against the Son and the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity itself. During these last few decades, God's enemies have laid waste on two thousand years of Tradition. With a bewildering acceleration, thanks to this Pontiff's subversive energy granted to him by the most powerful Jesuit Apparatus, a final blow is being dealt to the Church.

It is impossible to ask of pope Bergoglio to speak clearly, as with all other modernists, since the defining mark of the modernist heresy is dissimulation. They are masters of error and expert deceivers, "they strive to make universally accepted that which is ambiguous, presenting its innocent side, which will serve as a passport for its toxic side, which was hidden in the beginning" (Fr. Matteo Liberatore Societas Iesu yes, he was a Jesuit). In this way a lie, persistently and obsessively repeated, ends up being "true" and accepted by the majority.

Typically modernist is also the tactic of promoting that which you want to destroy, using vague and inaccurate words, availing the error without ever stating it outright. This is exactly what pope Bergoglio does, with the nebulousness he uses to dissolve the Mysteries of Faith, with the doctrinal imprecision he's mastered, through which he "crossbreeds" and demolishes the holiest dogmas, as he has done with the marian ones of the Ever-virgin Mother of God.

The result of this abuse is that which us all can see: a catholic Church no longer catholic; a container emptied of its true contents and refilled with trash.

The advent of the Antichrist is inevitable, it is part of the History of Salvation. We also know it's the premise of Christ's universal triumph and his glorious Bride. Those among us who haven't been led astray by these enemies of the Church, embedded in the ecclesial Body, must unite and stand strong in the face of the Evil One, defeated long ago but still able to hurt and lead multitudes of people to eternal perdition, whose head will be crushed once and for all by the Most Holy Virgin, our Paladin.

The time has come for us to act. Without misunderstandings, without letting ourselves be driven from this Church of which we are legitimate children and in which we have the sacrosanct right of feeling at home, without letting the odious horde of the enemies of Christ make us feel marginalized, schismatic and excommunicated.

The time has come for us to act! The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary – Coredemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces – comes through her "small ones", certainly frail and sinners, but of sign absolutely opposite to to the enrolled members of the Enemy's army. It is our duty to stand watch and pray as ardently recommended by Saint Caterina of Siena: "O! I die and I can't die. Do not sleep in indifference any longer; do in the present time what you can. Comfort yourselves in Christ Jesus sweet love. Drown yourselves in the Blood of Christ crucifix, climb on the cross with Christ crucifix, hide in the wounds of Christ crucifix, bathe yourselves in the blood of Christ crucifix" (Sixteenth letter).

The Church is cloaked by the darkness of modernism, but victory belongs to Our Lord and his Bride. We want to keep professing the Church's perennial faith in the face of the Evil who besieges her. We want to stand watch with Her and Jesus, in this new Gethsemane of the end times; pray and do penance in reparation of the many insults told them.

I will not claim that Francis has watered down any beliefs to my knowledge (unless you count the idolatry thing; but even that was done on doctrinal grounds though we all see it for what it is and I think the Bishop has every right to be furious at this great evil).

The problems with Francis emerge more, however, with anytime his political advocacy comes up and we find in him a tendency to compromise or agree with certain liberal ideas which only serve to undermine Christianity. It also tends to give non-Catholics a false impression of Catholicism. Our efforts at evangelization are meaningless if the church is flooded with people who believe homosexuality is in any way acceptable and that we should be concerned with the affairs of Muslims, and these are the ideas people get in their head when they hear the media talk about Francis. If we let them believe as such, we do more to damn them than if they had never heard us at all. I don't believe in your idea of a gradient. You can't compromise on the teachings of the Bible. You either follow them or you don't.

No, I say the traditionalist have to be the better man, the better Christians. I say they hold the Truth, but package in a way that causes scandal; and I mean scandal in it's original meaning: being a reason for others to stumble. People are driven away by this military attitude, sometimes bordering "holier than thou", and as a result souls are being lost. That modernist act unchristianly is understandable, since many can hardly be called Christian at all. Those that, however, knowing fully and well the message of Christ, fall to the same level as the modernist to start Twitter fights have less of an excuse. And I'm not talking so much about Virgano here as about the traditionalist community at large.

That's what I mean when I say "our shepherd is not with us". Francis doesn't seem to give a single flying fig about being controversial inside the Church. Personally, they way he's handling the elections of new cardinals royally pisses me off. Many of his statements are made for the cameras and to us Catholics may seem… iffy, at best. But that's the thing, those statements are mostly for the cameras and the people at the edges of the Church. We have the bulwark of tradition and thousands of priest who really know their stuff. Those people have just an occasional Francis quote, filtered by the media, to guide them. I personally know people who are starting to get attracted to the Church just because "the Pope seems like such a nice grandpa". Cringey and painful, sure, but unfortunately that's what works. Too many think they know what Christianity is and have to be lead in through the side door so they may rediscover what religion actually is about.

But back to your original point, yes, I won't shift blame away from Francis for what he does wrong, and every Catholic is right to be, if not angry, at least disappointed with him. I just trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and hope Francis mistakes won't have profound, long lasting consequences and that whatever good he achieves is lasting.
