The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

What is sacramental chalk?

Is it possible that I can buy pic related and have it blessed by a priest?

It is a sacramental like Holy Water and Blessed Oil. You use it to ward off evil spirits and protect your home. You also use it during the Epiphany.

Yes you can do exactly what you said. I had Oil Blessed a few weeks ago and it was just Extra Virgin I bought at the store. It just has to be something that throughout the use of chalk would be considered chalk.

Also as an aside since this is the Sacramentals thread most Sacramentals like Holy Water, Salts, Candles, Crucifixes, Benedictine Medals and Oil have two different blessings. Old Rite and New Rite make sure you are having the items blessed in the Old Rite because the Old Rite has all the Exorcism Blessings the new Right lacks especially Holy Water.

Old Rite Holy Water has 3 Exorcism Blessings put on it Water, Salt, and the Combined Salt and Water. The New Rite has none.

Ask your priest if he does the Holy Water for Church in the Old Rite if not you can give him water and salt and he can do the blessing for you.

Do the materials matter? Because drawing chalk is almost always gypsum, not actual chalk.

Ask a preist but I do not think so.
