The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

What does God's Omnipresence do for him besides making him present everywhere?

I think Jesus made it Clear that he is not a selfish God. What does him being omnipresent do for you?

It comes down to the nature of God. He isn't just a being like a human or a heavenly body. There is no visual representation that we can fashion that wil describe his appearance other then what we see right in front of us. He governs the laws of the universe and makes all things possible to their smallest parts.

The "white beard" serves you only as a methapor, the idea of a ''father" only describes his nature, but is appearance and presence is not that of a man.

>not that of a man

God kind of does since we were made in his image.

consider the pentagram. its earliest known symbolism comes from the school of Pythagoreas who used it as an example of why human beings were perfectly designed and clearly created by an intelligent god of some kind. he used it to show that humans are mathematically and proportionately perfect due to our resemblance of the pentagram (head is the top triangle, legs are bottom two, arms are top two and the pentagon in the middle is the torso and stomach). it was the emblem of their school for many years as it perfectly summed up their belief in a mathematically precise universe engineered by a supreme being. it was later adopted by churches to symbolize the 5 wounds of Christ, and sometimes the 4 apostles led by the one Christ. its corruption by later wiccans, satanists and neopagan faggots is an unfortunate consequence of historical ignorance and new age faggotry trying to reinvent everything.

think of man being in the image of God less in terms of "well obviously god looks like a human right?" and more in terms of us being made in the same archetype of God, that of perfection and sovereignty. no im not saying god is obviously a 5 pointed star either, im just trying to use this symbolism to help you understand
