Hello my friends, i am someone that hates reading regardless of the book. I've downloaded an app on my mobile called "King James version, of the holy bible" that includes Audios for every chapter. So I've been listening to the Audio, and want to roughly listen to 1-2 hours of it everyday until completed.

Is listening to audio fine, or is the bible something you have to read?

Reading is aloud is best, then listening, then reading silently to yourself. If you can't read, listen. Try to read eventually though.

What i do is, i basically listen to the audio, but at the same time read the words as it glides through each paragraph. That way, even if i make a mistake i get corrected by the audio.

Will take me weeks to finish it, but i will eventually do it for myself and god as i once promised.

I was going to reply asking if reading aloud was really the best, then I did it and it made my experience a whole lot better. I found myself confused and just skimming the last few words of a verse but now I read it all and have a better understanding of it. I'm reading through it cover to cover and I'm afraid I've missed a lot of Joseph's life because I didn't read it carefully enough. Reading it aloud has also made me a lot more engaged so hopefully it won't take me a month to read a book now lol.
