Pick something you're confident you can make good content of. It may be Christian news (though alternative news commentators on YT is a bit of a saturated market), Christian theology, History, whatever you want. Make sure it's something you know about, something you can actually teach others. The quality of your stuff is the most important thing here.
Consider hiring people. There's this war history channel called Baz Battles. He is an excellent animator and writer, but isn't a native English speaker and his accent is horribly thick, so he hired a voice actor. Watch a bit of one of his videos, then go to the first ones he's published and compare the two voices. A bit of investment can go a long way. If you're doing the talking, get a decent microphone; sound is always more important than video.
When it comes to growing, Binging with Babish and Tierzoo come to mind; two channels that grew really quickly. How did they do it? Good quality, an established formula from the start and cool, enjoyable content. And, of course, social media presence. The JewTuff algorithm is not gonna give you the views, you'll have to take it to forums, like posting it here and in reddit. Yes, you'll have to go shill in reddit. When you get views, it doesn't matter if they're from proper people or from redditors: you want quantity over quality, so reddit is the place to get views from. I imagine you may also have to go to Facebook, join groups there and share your videos (if they're facebook friendly). Keep in mind that going this route requires borderline professional content from the start: you better know exactly what makes a good video and how you're gonna deliver that.
Other than that… it's hard work, really hard work that requires an awful lot of dedication. I honestly feel I should try to discourage you. To have any chance of success at all, you should really really want to do YT videos; not just for a living, but for the shake of it. But who knows, maybe you have the perseverance that is required. If that's the case, I wish you the best of lucks.
