Do know that lots of cafetaria catholics marry for the Church out of mere tradition.
I recently found out my uncle and aunt's marriage isn't valid for the Church because they never intended to have children.
I asked my priest about this and he said that if they were to present this to the Church Court for annulment it was a done deal.
Now imagine every cafetaria catholic or even better every baptised atheist marrying for the Church because "muh tradition" or 'muh fairytale princess wedding" who don't want children, plan to use contraception or marry with the safe-net that a divorce is always legally possible if they get tired of their spouse.
In short, one's wedding is invalid if they lie before the altar when giving their vows.
You marry but didn't want children and avoid getting any at all costs? Invalid.
You marry but your wife was having a double-life all the time? Invalid.
You marry because it's just something for the sake of tradition and only did this because you "could always divorce"? Invalid.
While the second one is rather far-fetched, the first and last one are pretty common these days.
