Such a long list, but primarily it's the continuing of post-eu3/hoi3/vic2/ck2 paradox.

First, mana is back and some people are realizing how dumb of a concept it is.

Bird mana, paper mana, all this dumb shit that was used in EU4 has spread to

another game. It does pops much worse than other paradox games, and nothing

makes sense, especially for things like promotion or change. Most parts of the

game are very incomplete, such as the Roman political system, and the world outside of the mediterranian.

It's buggy, poorly made, very slow, and has corrupted a couple of saves last i've heard.

I think it's the new-paradox audiecne going from EU4 to an incomplete launch game and

finally realizing that paradox is now a shit developer, and their last good game was ck2.

I still haven't gotten over the fact that they folded East vs West after teasing us so long about it.

Are strategy games, including ones involving war, okay for Christians? Why or why not?

Do you consider games like this violent, as they technically involve combat, or are violent games only ones that graphically display violence without a good message?

With how vastly improved and well-regarded DH is over HOI2, as an example, they may have

feared that they would be competing with fan-made games funded and published by themselves.

A sign for this being that HOI4 was announced around the time that EvW was canned. This was a similar

situation to an EU3 mod-turned-game, that ended up canned and EU4 was announced soon after. The game

was being delayed a lot, likely because HOI was not a very politics-centered game. I've played the leaked build,

and well, in the state that it was, it's fine and perfectly playable, however it could've been a mod for HOI3.For

my cold war/modern era /gsg/ i've stuck to the NWO mod for Vic2 and several mods for DH, including thunder

in the sky and the all-in-one mod.

It's a soulless EU4/CK2 mix. All of the countries and religions are exactly the same, with the only difference being that certain regions have special names for the same exact buffs. Mana is implemented in a way where it's literally the only thing that matters, and if you have an excess of it, you can colonize, convert, and assimilate multiple provinces, change laws, and appoint an entire council all while being paused.

Because of the Fallen state of the world that which we live in, war is an inevitable part of the human condition. Strategy games that depicted are not sinful, but an obsession with video games like any obsession that isn't God is sinful. I like Grand strategy games like ck2 because it is such an open-ended objectiveless game that the imagination truly can go wild. I've had more fun in ck2 than any of the other Triple-A console games I've ever played.

Grand strategy games are not for everyone but they will activate your almonds.
