I'm against immigration in general. And Pope Francis does advocate for it, but he does it from a place of love for his fellow man. He believes people would live better lives in America thus why he would love if these people could go there. Naive yes, as he doesn't really see the ramifications that would result from this. We need to recognize that a lot of these people are simply in need, and still have a basic human dignity. I'd prefer that we find more meaningful solutions (like improving their country of origin, or improving our border security to know who's coming in), but we need to help when we can and offer aid to those less fortunate.
