You do know that that was a fear surrounding Bolshevism, right? Which is gone now. And praise God for that.

How about focusing on the queers and child murderers taking over the West now? Why are Catholics fixated on converting other Christians, when there's a tremendous amount of degeneracy and death right at the doorstep? And to add to the strangeness, you're trying to convert Christians who are already devoted to the Virgin Mary. It's not like Russia is full of Mary hating Baptists. These are your kin that you'd find little to disagree with about Mary.

I know most Orthodox will not compromise, but I hope we get a learned Pope that will reach out to the Eastern Orthodox and try to mend the Schism. What really divides us is the Filioque and Papal supremacy - Eastern Catholics have kept all their traditions (which are your traditions) but they affirm those. Some, like Melkites, even have Mark of Ephesus and Palamas as Saints. In any case, it seems like you guys have been making progress on joining the Oriental Orthodox to your faith?

It could be demonic in the sense that the apparition is giving you an obscure message to "consecrate" Russia. Only later was it claimed that this apparition was "Mary". There's also the claim that 9/10ths of the world will be wiped out if the "consecration" (again, who knows what that means) doesn't happen. This is millennialist, the idea of a worldly utopian kingdom, paganism. Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead on judgement day, that's the prophesy to put on your hearts friends.

>American politicians

Next you're going to link us that Yuri Bezmenov video, right? The Frankfurt school didn't arrive in the West from Soviet infiltration. No, the American establishment welcomed them in with open arms. > Frankfurt school didn't arrive in the West from Soviet infiltration. No, the American establishment welcomed them in with open arms. Speaking of which, communism originated in Germany (led by (((them))) of course). The cold war is over; American capitalism is just as demonic as the Soviets were.

And they are far more destructive imo. Where straight up Marxists and Bolsheviks focused on class issues, Frankfurt focuses on the more vague "oppressor vs oppressed" dichotomy. There's absolutely no end to it. And this is why the West is eating itself at the moment. Constant victimhood grievances, and constant creation of new ideas of victims. You could actually slow Marxism down by focusing on economy and how other systems aid the lower classes just as well. But none of that works anymore. It's all Identity politics now.

So to bring this all back, it strange that there is such dire warning about Russia, when it not only resolved the problem of getting rid of the Marxists, but even that problem isn't as severe as the one that exists now. And to make it more absurd, it originates in the West itself!

People are sadly living in the past if they fear Russia. The demon is right here. And if you don't recognize it and destroy it, it's only going to get worse.

5f2f6a  No.804675

>>804674

Also, some of the loudest perpetrators of the Frankfurt school are people in the church itself. Both Orthodox or Catholic, sadly. I've seen social justice warrior Orthodox (like the stuff that comes out of Fordham university.. like gender studies in the orthodox church) to all of the demonizing of anyone against illegal immigration (again, it goes back to the oppressor/oppressed dynamic) - the Pope being the main culprit here for Catholics. They're all Marxists, but using this new dialectic that isn't always economics based.

Okay, there are two meanings for that word.

In one, Paulo would be saying not to stutter during prayers, an assertion in itself silly, since gentiles were not known to simply stutter during prayers.

In another, Paul would be saying not to make vain repetitions like the Pharisees, which makes a lot of sense, since the Gentiles were known to repeat their prayers as if they were "spells" that should be repeated exactly over and over again.

>hence why there are 30 thousand different Prot denoms that hold sola scriptura to heart.

It is better to leave the knowledge of the Bible decentralized than to keep everything only in a denomination that every century changes what it wants to favor its own ideas.

Everything listed in those screenshots is completely subjective (zero sources listed, I'm aware of the sources behind those compliants and they are mostly true, but still, none of them were provided with the comment) and can be found in the West to the same or worse extent with additional problems thrown in that are fairly alien to Russia.

Russia has tons of other problems from different sources needing different solutions, but when it comes to practicing Christians and being a Christian in the country it's still better off overall and anyone who has been there for more than a week would probably know that.

This thread should die and serves no purposes beyond the usual squabble and divide which it will certainly achieve so I won't respond beyond this. Choosing between Russia and most Western countries when it comes to practicing the faith and the people who are already there as practicing Christians is like choosing between crap and crap with corn in it, both are ultimately horrible and the only thing we're arguing is which one has less of a smell so we can stick with it, and that's not worth arguing, especially not today but not ever.

>Will we ever consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart christbros?

It already happened.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_F%C3%A1tima#Consecration_of_Russia

>I come to answer your question, "If the consecration made by Pope John Paul II on 25 March 1984 in union with all the bishops of the world, accomplished the conditions for the consecration of Russia according to the request of Our Lady in Tui, Spain on 13 June 1929?" Yes, it was accomplished, and since then I have said that it was made.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consecration_of_Russia

>Orthodox Christians and especially members of the Russian Orthodox Church object to the concept of the Consecration of Russia for two reasons: (1) Russia was already Christian at the time of the alleged Fátima apparitions and had a long history of devotion to the Theotokos, and (2) the concept contains what appears to be an implicit proselytism of Russian Orthodox Christians to the Catholic Faith. Orthodox apologists thus tend to understand the phrase "Russia will be converted" as implying conversion from Orthodox Christianity to Roman Catholicism and acceptance of papal infallibility and universal supreme jurisdiction. Catholics respond that the apparitions at Fátima took place after the March 1917 revolution that deposed Tsar Nicholas and the April 16 return to Russia of Lenin. Russia was thus already in the throes of revolution and facing a renewed threat from a Bolshevism particularly hostile to all organized religion when prayers for Russia were first requested in May. The final October miracle occurred just weeks before the Communist Revolution. They argue that this timing suggests that the consecration refers to the threat that Russia faced from atheistic Communism. In 1946 during a gathering of youth at Fátima, Sister Lucia was asked by a young Russian girl (Natacha Derfelden) how the conversion of Russia would come about. However, Sister Lucia stated that the conversion of Russia would come through the Orthodox Church and "the Oriental rite", seemingly meaning the conversion implied reconciliation and reunion between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. Yet, another possibility is that it means a conversion of the heart, which conforms to the theological commentary written by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI) on the Fátima secret.

The only detail that needs to be ironed out now is the actual nature of the consecration, its consequences, and so on. Time will tell, I guess.
