The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Is it just I or we are seeing an increase of trolling culture embracing conservatism? I am not talking about political larpers of /pol/ and /leftypol/ that take themselves seriously. The trolls who act edgy and mess with people for fun. It seems a lot of ex-troll I knew not only to grow up to be more conservative. But a lot of them even became Christians. Long before the recent clown memes. It seems like trolls can easily see how much of a joke society became. They now realize they need God. Cause secular society became one big joke.

Contrary to whatever many may think of the so-called "trolling culture". Most of what people think are trolls are not really what (((Hollywood))) basement-dwelling caricatures made them to be; most are decent normal folks who are just shooting shit on the internet because the internet is not supposed to be taken seriously. And the more one go 'internet is srs bns' like those dim-witted secular and liberals, the more likely that one will make oneself a target for those "trolls".

You are absolutely on point about the secular society became one big joke though.

It's kind of a mixed bag. Most became Christian conservatives whereas some became atheist socjus types (ie. Vince of /baphomet/, he became a leftist tranny, so give him prayers for him to become a Christian conservative).

However, you're correct in pointing out why Christianity is necessary. Rejecting Christian morals doesn't lead into an absence of morality, it leads into contradictory morality where everything lacks coherency. Here are the three observations that woke me up:

1. Creation of life is viewed as a vice, but infanticide is considered a virtue.

2. People believe that OK symbols created holocaust, but reject the idea that God created everything.

3. Criminals are granted additional rights for doing the wrong thing, whereas law abiding citizens have their rights limited for following the law.

The greatest troll I ever knew was studying to become a priest at an Opus Dei seminary, so there may be some connection there…

I'd say that the "mainstream" and "accepted" thinking is to be anti-christian or at least atheist. Trolls usually go with the counter-culture, which nowadays is clearly conservative. That, I think, is why they get exposed to Christianity and christian values and many end up adopting them.
