Are you a child of God or the Devil? Real Christians do not sin. They are children of God. Children of the Devil sin. Children of God do not sin after becoming baptized. In Romans Paul speaks of a dual nature, that his vaus (mind) is slave to God, but his flesh is slave to law of sin. I understand that he is saying the sinful nature has to be rigidly conformed to the law against its will. Which is why there is pain involved with following Christ. It hurts to not lust and it is frustrating to not hate. Those are the pains and agonies that Paul is talking about. Not that he is actually sinning, but that it hurts to not sin. But take heart if you sin, for if you do sin you can still be saved by our redeemer in Christ. Many who seek Christ go through many agonies of repentance, but then return to their sin. Their pastors and priests tell them that they cannot stop sinning. This is a false teaching. They have not received the holy spirit and the fully life changing salvation through Jesus. Jesus said that, "If you love me, you will obey my commands." Love of Christ causes you to be able to overcome all sin. When preachers, pastors, and priests begin to compromise and say that all Christians sin daily, they are really making excuses for their own sin and creating a culture that allows sin to exist daily within what is supposed to be a holy Christian body. This is why all of your churches are corrupt. They are no different from non-Christians. They don't carry a cross. They don't love Jesus. This is why Atheists and Jews can laugh and mock Christianity without reprimand.
One John:
9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.
Romans:
21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature[d] a slave to the law of sin.
