idk about canon law but the catechism of Pope St. Pius X says to burn prot bibles:

As a convert, I found that the NO guys were easier to talk to and make appts with when trying to set up RCIA stuff and the young priest I spoke with mentioned that some Catholics tend to worship the Church and not Christ. I didn’t like that sentiment and wrote him off, but I’m beginning to see it, even if I do tend way more to the TradCath side of things.
