Should I say grace for everything I eat, even if it is a snack? How often should I say it throughout the day? Do I also need to say grace for drinking water?

Here's a simple prayer I say:

Say a longer grace for full meals, for snacks and water you might say something quick to the effect of "Lord I thank you for your gift" or "Thank you Lord." Say it with attention even once it's a habit though, prayer without at least the intention of true attention (which should be able to be maintained during a 2 second prayer as these) is useless.

We need to pray for blessings of our food just in case it has kosher or halal cursings upon it.
