In all seriousness, it's insane. Absolutely insane. What kind of absolute madman goes from narrowly escaping his taunting slavers, to purposefully going back to them in order to save them from their sins? It's insane. It's incredible. The man had balls as big as his heart. The first Christians were some of the most fascinating people in history. Mostly people who gave it all for Christ, and for those who needed Christ. Look at Paul. He could have lived an extremely privileged life as a Roman citizen and a member of the Jewish higher class. But he gave it all away to be beaten, shipwrecked, booted, jailed, and killed because he felt that people needed to hear how to be saved. It's ridiculous. If that doesn't make someone feel inadequate, I don't know what will. My faith has grown immensely over the years, and these men have a lot to do with it. I've inherented this wonderful mission and I hope to continue the legacy to live for others in servitude of my king.
