I'm horrified of blaspheming against The Holy Spirit. I think I might have already done it by resisting not sinning and failing to repent after asking for forgiveness. How do I know what The Holy Spirit wants and how to follow through with His pushing?

Just don't be the Pharisees, who had such profound and persistent resentment against Jesus that they finally called his works to be from demons.

On a related note, we must remember to always give God the glory when you see good in the world.

I think you might benefit from reading the lives of the saints. I'm not sure what your particular sin is, but rest assured that God has healed men from far worse. Reading the lives of the saints will give you a sense of direction for what you are striving for. Remember to confess your sins in full before your priest. After that, you can have confidence that God has forgiven you and live a life in peace and repentance.

If you are a Protestant, I still recommend confessing to an elder of your church, or any Christian you respect and trust. It will help you to stop doubting yourself and put you on the right track.
