We have Charismatic Churches in Catholicism as well.
They are all about strong emotional experiences and emphasising the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Which can include miracles, but most of the time it is the gift of "tongues", i.e. incomprehensible babbling that is supposed to come from the Holy Spirit.
If it is anything like Catholic Charismatic Churches, expect a lot of teenagers and young adults, a band playing, lots of people posing with their hands in the air and eyes closed, people doing the whole "speaking in tongues" thing, and just all round highly emotional style of spirituality.
Some people really identify with this sort of spirituality. Who knows, maybe you will go along and be singing and crying and throwing your hands in the air. But it definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea.
