Not Anglican, but as far as I understand it the Anglican Communion is extremely all over the place without any centralised authority. This means that, whilst there are conservative Anglican parishes or whatnot, particularly in Africa, they possess no more authority or pull over the overall Anglican Church than their more liberal, wacky equivalents.
Compare that to Catholics who have unchangeable dogma, which means that, even if every Catholic priest was outed as a heretic, it would not matter since the dogma would not change. The same goes for the Orthodox Churches who must adhere to tradition.
