Anderson was the first one to start controversy. Anderson called him a drunk when he doesn't drink. Also Anderson claimed Durbin was discharged from the military for being homosexual, but when Pulpit & Pen asked for evidence he sent them discharge papers which don't give the reason for the discharge:

Anderson is bearing false witness which is a serious sin. Also Anderson had his wife do an 'analysis' on Durbin's response which is ridiculous. She psychoanalyzes everything to death to the point where "I never have been a homosexual" is somehow construed as vague language:

Anderson can be convincing because he is good at ranting polemics and maybe 70% of the time he's right about the things he's ranting about. But he is seriously uncharitable towards and downright slanderous about other Christians. Not Just Catholics, or Orthodox, or even Calvinists, but even other KJV-only independent fundamental baptists who he probably agrees with on about 90% of things.
Like here:

where he strongly implies that a KJV-only fundamentalist baptist who has been married for a decade with 4 kids is "queer". Because.. some of his dress shirts have a dot pattern on them? Which Anderson calls 'polka dot' to make it sound extra silly, but honestly I would not think twice about a guy wearing a shirt like this. And he says he wears 'skinny jeans', although they aren't all that tight. Whatever you think about the way the guy is dressed, Anderson implying he's gay is way overboard. It couldn't possibly be because the guy has a church in Tempe and Anderson is worried some of his flock might jump ship, right? No, Anderson couldn't be that petty.
The fact is even if you agree with Anderson on 95% of doctrine he'll viciously mock you for the 5% you disagree with, so his followers learn to be good drones and not think or question anything.
