The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Because it kills threads.

Seriously, does nobody understand QTDDTOT anymore?

I swear I've seen this thread before but with a bird that collects blue things.

Could it be a bot?

Because the argument is that human will and divine will can never fully agree. Therefore salvation becomes the overwriting of human will.

It's the same heresy from Arius, to Iconoclasm, to itself: that human and divine can not possibly work together in harmony.

The Coptic Pope Shenouda III says this in his booklet against Theosis, I think it's called "the nature of Christ" or something similar. It's at the very bottom, I believe.

Christ has a fully human nature, which includes having a fully human will. He, in addition to having a fully human nature, also has fully Divine nature, which includes having fully Divine will. Hence we must conclude that Christ has two wills: one human, one Divine.

We ourselves would have no hope of fellowship with God if Christ did not truly unite the divine and human.

>And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done. - Luke 22:41-42

Scripture above shows Jesus clearly has two wills, human and divine, but they were in perfect accord with each other.

I have to disagree with you on that. If anything, an Arian can point to that and say that it proves Jesus' submission to God. Showing that God and Jesus are seperate.

yes but if both agree that Jesus is God then dyothelitism is correct within that framework.
