I was referred to this video recently. I remember watching an extremely old video from this channel where the host said he was a christian of some denomination, but seems their more in the business of trying to debunk religion above anything else nowadays.

What are you thoughts/arguments on this video? (and on a side note, do anyone here know of any popular christian channels with similar view counts?)

The problem of evil is a complete meme, a worthless argument in terms of the truth of reality but powerful in terms of rhetorical appeal. Think about it: if man's destiny is eternal in light of the nature of his human soul, then it follows that every evil suffered within this plane of existence has ipso facto only temporary consequence. How does temporary suffering at all contradict God's goodness, especially given the reality of Jesus Christ, whereby God Himself shares in such suffering not only as a gesture of love, but also to teach us various lessons about the nature of our predicament, which is man's endless, pathetic attempts to have it his way without God, a total impossibility.

I am not going to watch a 10 min vid.

I would argue that "Evil" is necessary for the progress of humanity.

In the end God writes the story, and if something was truly worthless it wouldn't exist.

So evil is not worthless and exists to help us.

It's not just the face, but the whole aesthetic is very effeminate, as in his movements, voice, even the usage of cartoons, etc. It's not something I can put it into words, because it bypasses directly to the Heart.

His effeminacy comes form thinking that one can make anything better than God does, for example, he can make masculinity better than God. I'm not saying atheists put it into words, but it's basic logic that atheism leads to the rejection of masculinity (and any natural collective identity) and that shows on the way one presents oneself to the world. With cartoons.

Maybe you're just very effeminate yourself and you are not noticing because of your low standards. But try listening to your Heart rather than thinking anything that can't be put into words is wrong.

Basing your world view off of this is dangerous and can bring you to anti-Christian thinking. You called me philosophy "enlightenment" tier as If you know my philosophy (I'm Christian, that's my philosophy).

You are trying to connect dots like a conspiracy theorist, which is on par with astrology. Being this hyperfocused on how some one looks (as if it reflects their inner reality) is a dangerous, dangerous game. LOL ask them what evil objectively is.

From a Christian's point of view, it's rebellion, not suffering. One could 'suffer' from either punishment or growth, both of which are holy things in the sight of the Lord. Furthermore, to say that God wants something that acts completely against His own desires is contradictory, and with that heathens don't really have an argument regarding evil (or even objective morals, really).
