The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Were the 50s the best time for Christians in America? Why is it no longer like it was in the 50s? Why have people started rejecting traditional Christian values for degeneracy? When did it begin? :( I just don't get it…

It was only good once the puritans landed in America, afterwords everything went to σκύβαλα over there.

97533d  No.738247

No. The 50s inevitably leads to today.

So how good was it? As good as today is.

>Were the 50s the best time for Christians in America?

No.

>Why is it no longer like it was in the 50s?

Because progress occurs whether you like it or not.

> Why have people started rejecting traditional Christian values for degeneracy?

There were plenty of non-Christians and degenerates in the 50s. Stop looking at old copies of Redbook and start looking at the newspapers from then.

>When did it begin?

May 25, 1787

Weird way of saying 4th July 1776

e1c19d  No.738290

>>738284

July 4th is just the declaration of independence from England. Still had to fight a war and adopt a constitution before being an actual nation. May 25, 1787 is when the constitutional convention convened and the First Amendment was written, separating church and state forever.

Define best. I fail to see how the moral failures of others has any tangible effect on anyone's relation to God. If anything, these serve to confirm to an even greater extent the truths of Christianity.

And you do realize that two anons blame America's degeneracy on America by virtue of it's existence not because of some outside factor.

But please, keep being a good goy and blame America for it's cultural degeneracy and not (((those))) responsible.

The First Amendment was not penned by a Jew. Also, the stench of /pol/ needs to be washed from you before you ever post on this board again.

Jews were allowed into America because of separation of Church and state though.

You are correct, but you know who started the Central Bank that infects us to this day? (((Alexander Hamilton)))

No even to mention the (((freemasonry))) the founding fathers practiced. The stench of your ignorace needs to be cleansed before you start blaming things on things you don't understand.

Here's a better question. Why do zoomers idolize absurd advertisements from the 50's, and furthermore, why do they extrapolate from those representations and believe that it represented some sort of reality?

>Were the 50s the best time for Christians in America?

Yes and no, the post WW2 economy was great and most people had lived through a war and knew what it was like to go through hard times.

>Why is it no longer like it was in the 50s

Because we let a whole bunch of jews in, and the aforementioned decided that, instead of raising their children to be strong, they'd coddle them and not teach them anything of value.

> Why have people started rejecting traditional Christian values for degeneracy?

Because drugs, sex, and being a "rebel" are more fun than stoic acceptance of the human condition.

>When did it begin?

Basically the second WW2 ended and the military industrial complex took off. Also going off the gold standard and Bretton Wood was a major boon to the US in the short term, but in the long term it screwed over the global economy.

>I just don't get it

That's because you trust what's in the history books.
