>can be used to prove the existence of any god
The watchmaker argument doesn't even do that, because we have no experience of any other universe to compare.
You're not finding a watch on a beach, you ARE a watch living inside a bigger watch inside a bigger watch, everything you've ever known and can possibly comprehend is a watch. You don't have a clue if "not a watch" is even possible.
For all we know (and I'm only half serious), maybe this universe came into existence by accident, and there's another universe designed by a perfect god that's much better! Maybe the perfectly designed people over there are looking down on our universe and laughing at how shitty it is!
