I like keeping him around.
His channel got me started on Christianity. Back then, I was a huge fan of occult stuff. In an intellectual kind of way, I wasn't watching spooky things, I was into books, hermetism, gnosticism and all that. I was about to go deeper. But him and another experience I had marked my way.
Now I'm Catholic. So yeah, we have our differences.
But once in a while I check out his content.
If you listen to his early stuff, that's a really interesting part.
He was pretty much /pol/ + some sort of southern Baptist guy. Idk exactly. I'm not American so I can only understand so much of their culture. The point is, his main difference at that point from /pol/ was that he was Christian and that he thought Whites were turning into shit and were a disgrace to their race.
Which if you think about it, that's still /pol/. Reminder that there are people there who are bad Christians there were more & louder before the alt right/larpagan takeover of Trumpism. He calls himself a "bad Christian" in those early episodes.
I'd say listen to the first 4 and you'll get exactly what I'm saying.
In one of his later episodes he gets pissed off about a comment comparing sjws to /pol/.
Then there's the rise and "downfall". Periods which also happen to be his growth as a podcaster/youtuber. He became really good. That was about thew time I began to listen to his show. Back then, it was a great joy coming back once a week from Uni looking foward to hearing a new episode.
Then he quitted. Personally, I think it was a mistake. I think that through his podcast, he was evolving in the right direction - at least in some ways. He did quit going out of his way to find weird stuff (he ended up reading the news). He did quit being too much of a racialist (I notice this is particulary hard for Americans). He had and has still a very dedicated fanbase (which he never felt entitled to enjoying enough). He made a big impression on autistic people… I could probably go on.
But I get that making a podcast is a big responsability and maybe he had other plans or just couldn't handle it. Whaterver it is, it's fine.
Here's a mega with all his stuff https://mega.nz/#F!JyxSXLJC!wL95jQ-F2peLDfvOMk3gZw
Very complete this time. I've seldom seen such dedication in preserving this kind of content.
