The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

What’s your opinion on vegetarianism/veganism?

Historically, it was an option embraced by some early christians as spiritually good.

But everything fell under the Law of Liberty proclaimed in Romans.

It's cool if you wanna embrace it, but also cool if you don't.

Hearts are in the right place, but it's unattainable for most

The only reason I would stop eating meat is to save animals from suffering.

However if we all stopped eating meat, all those animals that are kept for their meat would be killed/abandoned which is also wrong.

So my conclusion: It's okay to eat meat as long as you raise the animals yourself.

It's also okay to eat eggs if you care for the chinkens that give them to you.

Vegetarianism is good, but I have no idea how I could integrate it into my life.

I mostly hear from vegans that eating meat is immoral, I hope you don't do that.

Other than that having vegan diet is ok I guess, just make sure you get all your necessary nutrients that people normally get from animals.

It's fine. Do whatever the Spirit leads you to do.

Matthew 15:11

Eat, or don't eat, whatever you want.

Vegetarianism was a viable discipline in the time of the earliest Christians, and veganism is also viable now that the quibble with vitamin B12 has been solved (if you're alright with having to take vitamin supplements just to have a balanced diet).

It is, however, nothing more than that: a discipline. It cannot be a mandatory aspect of the faith, and anyone who claims as much is condemned in 1 Timothy 4.

Well in theory people would go vegetarian gradually, so less animals would be bred.
